I love how this has become a universal standard but the origins of it are mostly based on the fact that Disney's villains were all specifically designed to be blatantly queer-coded (effeminate males with slender bodies & dominant females that don't fit generic measures of beauty etc) in an attempt to force kids to associate these things with evil, but instead they created a generation of adults who had no choice in their own inevitable queer identities, growing up identifying with these characters & so we all ended up finding almost all villains sexy
