minsu's eyes follow the way sol swipes away the remnants of his drink, head slowly tilting to follow until the spell is interrupted by his response. "hours? goodness, how would you get anything done?" they're quick to compose themselves, the slip easy enough to cover up with a laugh behind his sleeve. "well, i'd let you if we both didn't have jobs, but..." a finger lightly taps at the space on the table where both of their phones lay face down. "— you can always ask me to send a selfie for you. as long as you send me some of you too." the convenience store owner is already as forward as one comes, with or without alcohol added in the mix, so this isn't anything new between them.

"that all you wanna do? just look at me all day, every day?" it seems like he was fishing for a compliment, but they truly want to know what goes through sol's mind regarding anything.

"well  ...  you  know  me.  i  make  sure  i  get  everything  done  in  a  timely  manner.  i  can't  neglect  my  duties  ⸺  even  if  it  means  i'll  be  able  to  admire  such  a  beauty  like  yourself."  he  sounds  slightly  cheeky,  dimples  on  display  as  he  grins,  eyes  shifting  down  to  the  phones  on  the  table.  and  well  [  ...  ]  when  they  suggest  sending  him  photos  of  themselves,  how  could  he  possibly  refuse?  they  were  being  so  kind  enough  to  offer  and  besides⸺the  idea  of  being  able  to  possibly  make  their  photos  his  phone's  background  was  very  tempting.  even  if  he  knew  he  would  probably  have  to  change  it  immediately  after  due  to  the  nosiness  of  taeyang  and  seonghwa  both,  and  he  didn't  want  to  bother  hearing  their  questions.

"i  think  we  can  arrange  that.  you  send  me  a  photo  a  day  and  i'll  send  you  one  too.  i'm  very  fair."  sol  replies  with  a  single  nod,  reaching  for  his  glass  again  to  sip  at  it,  trying  not  to  react  too  much  to  the  obvious  probing  for  compliments⸺but  he  does  giggle  a  little.  minsu  was  so  obvious.  "maybe..."  he  drawls  out  carefully.  "hold  you  in  my  arms  and  talk  about  how  gorgeous  you  are.  how  no  one  could  possibly  compare.  would  you  like  that?"

goten  watches  his  friend  excitedly,  grin  present  on  his  features  as  his  own  tail  sways  lazily  behind  him.  he's  always  thought  that  trunks  was  so  cool  and  smart,  ever  since  they  were  children  and  this  was  no  different.  how  did  he  not  think  of  doing  the  same?  even  though  his  mom  never  let  him  stay  out  past  when  the  sun  went  down  when  she  knew  there  was  going  to  be  a  full  moon  [  ...  ]  so  he  never  had  to  worry  about  the  risk  of  turning  into  a  great  ape  and  rampaging  around  mt.  paozu. 

"that  makes  sense.  gohan  told  me  about  the  time  he's  turned  into  a  great  ape  ...  he  doesn't  remember  it  too  well,  only  that  he  destroyed  everything  in  his  path.  it  was  wicked."  he  explains,  shivering  a  little  at  the  thought.  "but  wait  ...  how  exactly  are  ya  gonna  train  yourself  to  handle  your  great  ape  form?  i  mean  ...  wouldn't  we  have  to  wait  until  a  full  moon  so  you  can  try  to  control  it  while  you're  in  that  state?  cause  no  offense  man,  i'm  not  lookin'  forward  to  getting  thrown  around  by  a  20  something  foot  tall  beast."

"Yes." It was hard for Goku to not stare when the person he was looking at, looked just like him. Didn't help that he didn't smell like either Puar or Oolong, meaning that this had to be someone else that he never met before. Grabbing his power pole, he tapped the boy on his head to see if something would happen.

something  was  seriously  wrong  —  because  well  [  ...  ]  it  wasn't  everyday  that  you  stared  at  someone  who  was  your  exact  same  height,  had  the  same  haircut  and  face  AND  also  had  the  same  tail  as  you!  not  to  mention  the  same  gi  —  except  the  kanji  on  the  back  was  different  from  his  own.  turtle  instead  of  just  the  blank,  empty  space  that  his  had.  not  to  mention  the  lack  of  sleeves.  it  was  all  so  [  ...  ]  weird.

"wha  —  hey!"  comes  the  quick  complaint  once  his  head  was  tapped,  tiny  hands  immediately  waving  away  the  elongated  magical  pole  as  he  shields  his  dome  with  a  pout,  tail  wishing  wildly  behind  him.  "i'm  not  a  ghost,  i'm  alive!  and  the  reason  for  that..."  goten's  voice  trails  off  and  he's  at  a  loss  for  words.  "i  uh...  i  dunno.  i  don't  think  i'm  supposed  to  be  here."  he  admits  softly.

he  rolls  his  eyes  at  her  words,  looking  slightly  miffed   as  he  leans  his  weight  against  the  desk  that  the  keyboard  and  monitor  rests  on,  fingers  running  through  his  hair.  "i  shouldn't  have  to  convince  you.  this  is  just  me  offering  advice  from  one  producer  to  another.  you'll  find  the  results  you're  looking  for  if  you  actually  take  better  care  of  your  body  and  mind.  you  aren't  doing  anyone  any  favors  by  doing  this  to  yourself."

eric watches with sharp eyes as taeyang listens, slides over to take the offered seat next to him on the couch. ( he eyes how close they sit -- knees nearly knocking when eric shifts to drop his eyes to the other man's phone. exactly where he wants him. ) for now, he ignores his earlier comment -- a time and place, he thinks. focusing on food seems better. safer. an arm moves to stretch out along the back of the couch, slender fingers tickling taeyang's shoulder when he adjusts. leaning in, he peers down at the phone, too, eagerly pressing into tae's space by feigning poor eyesight. ❛ i forgot my glasses, ❜ he lies smoothly, lips pursed as he begins to scroll through options with mild interest.

eventually, he chooses on a local chicken shop -- it'll be good regardless, a quick and easy snack to share. he doesn't ask taeyang what he wants -- in fact, he already knows. ( this is one of their regular lunch spots, when the work can't stop but food has to come. it's almost domestic, and eric makes sure to use his card when he presses the order button. ) once the selection is done, he takes taeyang's phone from his hand, sets it on the coffee table with a gentle ease.

❛ should be here within -- hmm, thirty minutes? they're usually quick, as we both know. ❜ with a wink, he nudges his side, turning to face him a little more head on. in the quiet of the room, eric lets out a low sigh, takes his time in admiring taeyang's features up close. ❛ i like it, ❜ he says, breaks the silence. ❛ when you push your luck. i like it. you get this... look in your eyes. ❜ his own narrow, lips turned into a subtle smirk. ❛ like you don't know what you're doing. and we both know you know what you're doing. isn't that right, ❜ he pauses, eyes dropping to tae's lips with obvious interest, ❛ sweetheart? ❜



taeyang's  breath  catches  in  his  throat.  he  can  smell  eric's  cologne  from  here  [  ...  ]  but  he  feigns  nonchalance.  smiling  even  while  he  lets  eric  take  control  so  easily,  nodding  sympathetically.  "ill  make  sure  i  bring  a  second  pair  with  your  prescription  with  me  next  time."

he  watches  the  man  with  rapt  attention  while  he  orders  their  food  —  feeling  slightly  flattered  that  he  remembered  his  favorite  order  and  he  nods,  excited  to  be  able  to  eat  something  and  fill  his  stomach  which  only  held  some  iced  coffee  and  a  protein  bar  in  it.  "in  that  case  ill  check  your  calendar  and  make  sure  i  push  back  any—"  taeyang's  cut  off  guard  when  his  phone  is  taken  from  his  hand,  surprised  as  he  turns  his  attention  to  face  eric  properly,  chewing  on  his  bottom  lip.

his  eyes  are  intense  [  ...  ]  as  is  the  way  he  sits  beside  taeyang  and  the  way  he  calls  him  out  —  he  was  always  the  blunt  type.  "i  don't  know  what  you  mean,  sir."  he  admits  softly,  eyes  dropping  from  his  features  down  to  his  lap  —  shameless  in  how  his  gaze  lingers.  a  smile  forms  on  his  lips  as  he  shifts  closer,  hand  outstretching  to  rest  on  eric's  leg,  carefully  caressing  over  it.

"I  just  try  to  take  care  of  you.  to  give  you  what  we  both  want  ...  and  isn't  that  great  motivation  to  do  your  best?"  he  asks  with  a  soft  giggle,  reaching  up  to  tap  his  nose.  "i  certainly  think  so.  im  doing  something  right."

maybe she's a little too confident from where she's sitting. maybe she has a possessive air about her that she hasn't entirely earned. ( and it's something that gives her pause, if only for a moment. because she's not like this. not usually. not with him. they fool around, have fun, enjoy each other's company. but, it's nothing more than just that. fun. friends having fun. ) still, the smirk that pulls at her lips remains, eyes easily slipping closed when minjae brings them face to face for another kiss. once she instantly melts into.

a hand slides up, teases at the hair at the nape of his neck. letting her nails scrape against his skin, the laugh that falls from her mouth is airy. ❛ i don't think i said that, ❜ she starts, tone a little insistent. nipping at his lower lip, mickey pulls back to bring them face to face, foreheads pressed together. ❛ what i'm saying is that you don't have to work so hard to have a fling, or a one night stand, when i'm right here. ❜ ( the pang in her stomach caused by thinking about him with another woman is swiftly ignored in favor of tugging his head back to expose more of his neck to her. ) teeth tease at his throat, just below his adam's apple, as mickey hums contently. her thumb still rests on the button of his jeans, nail tapping to a rhythm only she can hear. ❛ you can see whoever you want, ❜ the words are quieter now, breathed against his skin, ❛ but we both know where you'll be at the end of the night. ❜

gentle   groans   vibrates   from   his   lips   the   moment   he   feels   her   nails   scratch   at   his   nape   —   it   feels   so   good.   they've   spent   enough   time   together   in   this   way   for   her   to   know   just   what   makes   him   tick   [   ...   ]   way   more   than   any   other   woman   he   could   be   with.   and,   as   if   mickey   could   read   his   mind,   she   states   that   and   puts   it   into   the   air.   maybe   not   that   exact   wording   that   minjae   thought   of,   but   it   was   close   enough   and   it   makes   a   soft   laugh   escape   his   lips.

she   pulls   back   and   their   eyes   meet,   he's   searching   for   [   ...   ]   something   in   her   sharp   eyes,   as   if   there   were   something   more   to   her   words.   "you   are   here.   you   always   are.   and   you're   so   good   to   me."   minjae   reaffirms,   the   last   bit   of   his   words   getting   caught   in   a   soft   moan   as   she   tilts   his   head   back   and   he   follows   her   movements   —   he   always   does.   whatever   mickey   wanted,   mickey   got   and   he   was   happy   to   supply.   his   hand   running   along   her   spine,   skin   feeling   hot   under   her   ministrations,   where   her   teeth   tease   his   skin   and   he   guides   his   hand   up   to   the   back   of   her   neck   to   carefully   grasp   it   to   guide   her   away   from   his   throat.

"they   bore   me,"   he   admits   softly,   starting   his   own   kisses   along   her   jaw.   "none   of   them   can   please   me   like   you   do,   baby.   they   couldn't   even   begin   to   understand   me   like   you.   i   should've   known   that."   he   pauses,   grins   a   little   as   he   leans   in,   just   enough   for   their   lips   to   brush   together   —   but   refusing   to   kiss   her   properly.   "you're   always   on   my   mind   ...   it   drives   me   crazy.   you're   my   favorite   girl.   that   won't   change."

and it's the last text he sends before phone is shoved in his pocket, because as much as he'd love to keep texting his hyunnie bunny, it just took up more time when he could be in a bath with his devestatingly handsome boyfriend.

yeah, that sounded like the better option, for sure !

and when he does get through the front door ( unlocked, just like jihyun had promised ) he's ... well, out of breath doesn't even begin to describe. dae-ho was not a runner by any means, and it shows as he closes the door behind him, only to hunch over to try and catch his breath.

though,  before  he  could  possibly  text  anything  else,  he  hears  the  sound  of  heavy,  rushed  footsteps  throughout  the  hall  that  makes  him  look  up  from  his  phone.  he  could  guess  who  it  was,  which  makes  him  smile  as  he  sets  his  phone  aside,  just  in  time  for  dae-ho  to  come  barging  in  abruptly  through  the  front  door.  he  can  hear  his  heavy  breaths  along  with  his  loud  words  and  jihyun  can't  help  the  laugh  that  escapes  him.

"of  course  it  is!  i  can't  believe  you  truly  thought  running  here  was  a  good  idea.  you're  so  silly."  he's  slightly  exasperated  as  he  calls  from  the  tub,  finally  rising  from  it,  suds  covering  most  of  his  body  as  he  steps  out,  reaching  for  the  towel  to  lazily  dry  himself  off,  wrapping  it  loosely  around  his  waist  as  he  exits  the  bathroom.  he  could've  waited  for  dae-ho  to  enter  but  [  ...  ]  he  needed  to  see  his  face  right  this  instant.  and  when  he  sees  his  love  hunched  over,  he  makes  his  way  to  his  side,  cupping  his  face,  frowning  a  little  from  how  hotly  he  was  burning.  "oh  baby...  come  on  and  breathe  slowly  and  deeply,  it'll  help  calm  your  heart.  you  look  like  a  tomato  right  now."  gently  guiding  him  to  look  up  at  jihyun,  he  presses  a  single  kiss  on  his  forehead.  "want  me  to  get  you  some  water?"

and there had been fleeting conversations here and there, each one leaving dae-ho cursing himself for looking like such an idiot, but he couldn't help it ! jihyun was so ... perfect. tall, handsome, charming ━━━ dae-ho's mind screamed that someone like jihyun would never go for someone like him ; he was way out of his league.

and yet, here they were, wrapped up in each other in their own little loved up bubble, and dae-ho loved every second of it ! a lifetime with jihyun would never be enough, of this much, dae-ho was sure. he wanted forever ! in this life, and the next, and the next, and every single life after that ! he hopes that jihyun wants the same, and deep down, he's pretty sure he knows the other does.

because no one has ever looked at him the way kim jihyun looks at him, and if that isn't love ? dae-ho didn't know what was.

"and  you  did  a  great  job  at  it.  you  were  so  memorable,  you  refused  to  leave  my  mind  for  months  after  that.  and  look  where  we  are  now  ...  dating.  isn't  that  crazy?"  jihyun  teases  lightly,  expression  softening  as  he  gives  a  slight  strained  chuckle  to  try  and  keep  himself  calm  [  ...  ]  even  though  that  was  far  from  how  he  felt  in  reality.  how  could  he  possibly  be  calm  when  his  boyfriend  was  saying  such  sweet  things?  it  was  almost  enough  to  make  him  feel  dizzy.

his  smile  remains  on  his  visage  as  he  reaches  up  to  gently  pet  dae-ho's  head,  fingers  running  through  the  soft  tresses  and  pushing  them  away  from  his  face,  just  so  he  can  properly  admire  him.  he  thinks  he  would  be  happy  just  watching  and  admiring  his  boyfriend  like  this  for  the  rest  of  time.  he  was  so  pretty  [  ...  ]  so  unbelievably  perfect,  it  makes  his  heart  ache  from  how  much  love  flows  through  him  for  the  idol.

"i  think  i  have  an  idea  on  how  much...  you're  so  sappy,  dumpling,  what  else  am  i  meant  to  say  to  that?"  jihyun  asks  with  a  light  giggle,  vocals  trailing  off  with  a  pleasant  sigh.  "all  i  know  is  that  you're  it  for  me."

" punishment ? i-i mean, that's a bit over the top, don't you think ? i talk back a little and you ━━━ you wanna punish me for it ? i haven't done anything wrong, i've barely done anything ━━━ "

but then the thought crosses his mind, and he can't ignore it now ; like it's compelling him to push that little bit more, to really see how far jihyun will let him go. he's confident enough that he'll get away with it like, just like he has a million times before. he's been able to charm his way out of jihyun's punishments more times than he could count.

so really, why NOT bite ? why NOT play into the role that his boyfriend had so kindly given him ?

he keeps eye contact ( though, it's not like he'd been given much choice in the matter ) as teeth bite down. not hard enough to do any serious damage, but enough to get his point across. " you won't punish me, hyunnie. i know you won't ━━━ you wanna know why ? " a pause, as he releases thumb from teeth and moves to drag his tongue up it instead, taking the tip into his mouth and sucking, releasing the thumb with a soft pop as he keeps his gaze locked on his boyfriend.

jihyun's  eyes  visibly  darken  the  moment  that  his  digit  voluntarily  slips  between  dae-ho's  lips,  listening  closely  as  the  other  stumbles  over  his  words,  trying  to  explain  why  he  had  done  the  things  he  did  and  he  found  it  cute.  very  cute  and  amusing.

"you  never  act  out  like  this,  until  now.  how  do  i  know  someone  isn't  influencing  you?  you're  supposed  to  be  a  good  boy,  dae.  i  can't  have  you  showing  out.  i  need  to  correct  that."  he  explains  carefully,  tutting  softly  while  he  shakes  his  head.  his  mind  already  whirls  with  exactly  what  he  knows  will  happen.  dae-ho  continuing  to  back  track,  to  beg  for  forgiveness  [  ...  ]  and  jihyun  would  eventually  give  in  because  he's  nice  and  generous.  as  it's  happened  time  &  time  again.

except  it  doesn't  happen  this  time  —  he  winces  when  he  feels  him  actually  bite  down  on  his  thumb,  his  eyes  widening  the  slightest  bit  —  taken  entirely  aback.  the  unfiltered  confidence  that  radiates  from  his  boyfriend,  the  way  he  teases  over  his  thumb  with  his  tongue,  it  makes  him  shiver  and  flush  brightly.  and  suddenly  it's  hard  to  breathe  —  god  [  ...  ]  what  the  hell?  "you  don't  know  anything,  dae."  comes  the  raspy  vocals,  eyes  dipping  down  to  those  lips—he  acts.

the  hand  on  dae's  chin  tightening  its  grip,  guiding  him  closer  so  he  could  smash  their  lips  together,  firmly  kissing  him  whilst  keeping  him  pressed  against  the  wall.

Zuko’s mouth twitched faintly as he glanced down at himself as though only just remembering the embroidered collar, the gold-threaded cuffs, the unmistakably royal silhouette of the suit he’d thrown on that morning. Traveling used to mean disguises and patched shirts and dirt under his fingernails. Somehow, over the years, he’d forgotten how obvious he looked now.

“Yeah,” he admitted after a moment, rubbing the back of his neck with a small grimace. “The title kind of gives it away, doesn’t it?” There wasn’t arrogance in the way he said it. If anything, there was a weariness to it, Being royalty was less a privilege to Zuko and more something heavy he carried everywhere whether he wanted to or not.

“People expect me to stay behind palace walls all day listening to ministers argue over shipping routes and taxes.” His expression flattened. “Turns out that gets unbearable pretty fast. And you?” he asked. “You seem pretty calm for someone who just found out they’re talking to the Fire Lord.”

"maybe...  a  tiny  bit.  perhaps  more  touch  of  subtly  would  do  some  good  if  you  decided  to  venture  out  to  more  public  places  —  lest  you  want  to  get  swamped."  he  suggests,  an  easy  grin  sweeping  his  features  as  his  shoulders  rise  and  fall  with  a  simple  shrug.  having  served  under  a  king  of  his  own  in  the  very,  very  distant  past,  he  wasn't  unfamiliar  with  the  popularity  that  comes  with  being  royalty,  having  witnessed  it  firsthand  and  playing  right  into  the  system  that  created  it.

though,  he's  more  interested  in  why  zuko  isn't  dealing  with  the  same  treatment  —  or  the  fact  that  he  doesn't  have  any  bodyguards  flanking  him.  very  [  ...  ]  strange.  and  intriguing.

"if  i  were  in  your  position,  I'd  slip  out  too  —  having  to  listen  to  such  mundane  reports  becomes  old  fast.  why  waste  away  inside  when  you  could  be  enjoying  your  life?" 

hajoon  shakes  his  head  a  little  at  the  thought,  shrugging.  "i  mean  no  disrespect,  being  in  your  presence  is  very  lifting.  though,  i  heard  of  your  remarkable  deeds  around  the  world.  i  figured  you  wouldn't  be  the  one  to  seek  constant  validation  of  your  title."  he  nods.  "my  name  is  hajoon.  i'm  just  a  traveling  performer,  I've  come  from  far  away."  simply  put.  "it's  nice  to  meet  your  acquaintance."
