I have never understood why almost every person I know hates their father. If it weren’t for him your mother wouldn’t have gotten pregnant with you. Yesterday was father’s day and spent most of the day with him and when I got home and looked at what people were posting I was expecting good posts about their father’s but no, it was a bunch of posts that said, “why does Father’s day even exist if no father gives two shits about their kids.” Really, he doesn’t give two shits about you; then why does he feed you, clothe you, keep a roof over your head, and pay your phone bill. Even if your parents are divorced that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about you! My father doesn’t have enough money to support my brother and step brother with three different incomes in his home. He pays for medication that everyone there needs, he pays bills he pays child support on my other brother and I. If he didn’t care he wouldn’t pay it. I don’t live with my mother because I like her more. I live with her so that my father can live and support his household. Just because they don’t make everything about you doesn’t mean they don’t love you. Even if you say that you hate them and when they die that your going to celebrate, your not your going to cry and you know it; you just don’t want to admit your wrong in your current anger towards him. So any one who says that they hate their father, chances are that your parents are divorced and your mother told you only the bad, ask him why they divorced. Tell him what she said. ask him how much he wants you around. I can guarantee you his eyes will light up. He does love you, you just need to open your eyes and look for yourself.
