- Songs like zako or teto the 31st are the new ifuudoudou or shota shota island or holy lance explosion boy (I've just realised a lot of the more controversial songs back in the olden days used the kagamines seriously what were we on? 😭)

- Teto dominance is the new luka dominance/Gumi dominance etc.

I mean sure the newer fandom DOES have its issues, for example I do think there should be easier ways to find new songs by smaller/upcoming producers with just how much stuff is coming out as of recent (my pitch is a tiktok/yt music samples like app that plays short clips of vocaloid songs with links that take you to where that song was uploaded) and we do have a big ai problem with sites like suno stealing songs without the producers consent, and in some cases stealing songs that are from producers who're FUCKING DEAD! I've also noticed some people feeling like they have to use voicebanks like synthv teto or miku or else their song might be at risk of not doing well as well as some newgen fans being harassed by old heads for liking newer vocaloid media and oldheads calling newer teto stuff "tetoslop" - but aside from that a lot of complaints with the current state of the fandom are either nothing burgers, reheated nachos or nostalgia blindness and it isn't really that deep 🤷
