as a tumblrina who plays this game and also finds the female art p excessive, if i may present a case in the game's defense..
before anyone crucifies me, the plagiarism thing sucks. im not defending that. but the game's original art style is nice, and i hope ppl give it a chance despite that issue.
that being said, the game, as it stands now:
1. if equal treatment is the concern, there are also slutty depictions of men (see: agares, augustine, gilrain, albrecht n his bulge—yes the bulge is a separate character). totally get it if bold sexual themes aren't your thing in general, but there is at least diversity in the sexual themes that are depicted.
men are less common, but what's there does appeal to the hot anime boy likers (e.g., the average tumblr girl). what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality.
even the good good male boyshippers love it here. the most popular ships are yaoi and yuri and the game leans into it.
the game appeals to horny people at large, not just the straight men. it attracts diff kinds of fans n the game does try to make all kinds happy
2. even if you're not interested in the sexual stuff (like me) the game's story is good like genuinely 😭😭
the mc isn't a bland self-insert (he's a funny twink who's death incarnate and also has a fuckass bob)
characters (male and female) have diverse goals and issues outside their relationship w/ mc (btw not all of them are scantily-clad, unlike the impression of the post above might give you—theyre compelling and believable and sweet and sometimes it just so happens that their tatas are out)
the plot touches on themes of death, memory, redemption, loss, in a way that's actually good storytelling
overall, for me at least, the amount of care they give the characters and story makes the fanservice worth it 😭😭 like i good and truly get it if ure looking for fandom that wants to just open an app and goon to pixels, but as a fan who wants strong female leads who go through The Horrors but so clearly loved and is loved, i have to give the game props for managing to appeal to both of us.
give the game a chance! i love it here genuinely. the fandoms p small as the fans i talk to are all on discord or twt and we speak diff languages sometimes, but there are such great vibes for the tumblr types.
TLDR: yes it is an extremely horny booby game. but a) it has both booby women and men, and b) the booby men and women contain multitudes.
