Impact kinks don’t exist in a vacuum.
it should NOT be paraded as equivalent to romance in any way.
I think it should be made clear that if you are a sadist, hitting your (consenting) partner should be something confined only to play.
if your partner is hitting you outside of sexual practice, that’s not sexy or kinky, that’s abuse.
I see a lot of minors hiding in the masochism + blood play tags and it really concerns me that they often confuse kink & abuse outside of play.
I can’t stop you, I know that— but be safe.
they are ignoring safe-words. + they are hitting you harder than what you’ve expressed is your preference. + you are too afraid to tell them no, or that you are uncomfortable. + they hurt you outside of an aware sexual context, especially if they are upset or angry. + you don’t feel catharsis after impact play, but instead shame or violation. + they hit you as a response to conflict. + they justify all of this by insisting that you like it or “asked for it.”
Kink should be fun, not upsetting. To add on— MINORS. STOP POSTING ABOUT ABUSE KINKS. I mean, posting NSFW at all under 18 is incredibly unsafe, but this topic makes you highly susceptible to predators & romanticizes damage that needs to be addressed in a professional therapeutical environment first.
Especially before partaking in any activity.
I’m not saying be ashamed—i’m saying to just wait until your brain is physically developed enough to understand the danger and people involved.
