I Like Turblz 🐢

This is Yui Yoshida, she’s a transfer student and serves as Dexter’s main love interest (crush on the new girl trope) given how they’re both quirky art kids. I don’t really know what I’d call her style (it mostly consists of funky sweaters and silver jewelry, so I’m sure Pinterest can help with that)

So it takes place a few years after the og movie where MM’s been defender of Metrocity for a while now, life’s been more rewarding as a hero (especially because now he’s married and has a family); but overtime he notices that the people around him care less and less with crime rates dropping faster than WatchMojo’s relevancy. But it’s not just blue man that’s effected, Roxanne’s been struggling to report on anything noteworthy due to the low crime rates, which leads to her (and several other news staff) getting laid off so she’s stuck searching for a new job. MM probably toys around with the idea of making a villain to fight but everyone turns that down after what happened last time. Eventually MM comes across a wannabe criminal (aka Pipes) who tries to mess with him but inevitably fails bc she genuinely sucks at being threatening (also I imagine MM’s just politely scolding her the whole time like she’s one of his own kids) only for what he assumes to be her guardian comes to pick her up.

Speaking of this supposed “guardian”, she’s a young woman with princess syndrome (her father’s a gang leader who ended up getting sent to prison) who also frequently lies to get what she wants, MM saved her earlier and the two even bumped into each other at a bar where she tried to flirt but he ended up turning her down. Spoiler alert but she’s the villain, and is only using him to try and bust her daddy out. Her and Piper also have a deal where if she helps help with this scheme she’ll be part of the gang, even more spoilers but she also ends up bonding with MM and hell he isn’t even mad (a little disappointed sure, but not “OMG U LIED TO ME HOW COULD YOU I NOW HATE YOU!!!”) at Piper for lying bc he knows she’s a misguided kid. Anyways back on track, Elain (who’s the name of the villain lady) ends up convincing MM to get Piper to hang out with Meg and Dex in hopes of weaseling her way into things

And that’s the basic setup, I know I have more ideas but they’re kinda scattered all over the place (ex: MM eventually crashes out at Elain for being creepy so she makes up a sob story trying to tarnish his reputation)

I imagine Meg tries to have a more “formal” way of speaking to seem all big and smart, so she uses words like “fatality” rather then death

- she’s pretty childish with her taunting all things considered, it mostly consists of “na na na boo boo you can’t catch me” followed by her sticking her tongue out, so as much as she wants to be seen as genuine threat, you need to be the most sensitive person alive to take her seriously

- she does get into the occasional fight but most of her injuries are from accidents like tripping on a pebble while roller skating, Pipes does threaten to hit people with her baseball bat but she never follows through because she forgets about it not even a minute later. Hell the splatter on it isn’t even blood, she just flicked paint on it to make herself seem more intimidating than she actually is

- the reason why she’s the way she is and wants to be seen as a master criminal is because she’s desperate for any sort of attention, due to an emotionally absent mother who doesn’t know what she’s doing or even exists half the time, and as much as she wants to deny it, she’s only in a gang bc they give her the parental guidance she’s been wanting, even if they don’t actually care about her

- despite not exactly being the smartest, Piper has pretty good medical knowledge and knows what to do in case of getting injured (even carrying around a first aid kit)

- she ends up forming a small crush on Meg

All I gotta say now is that, someone who’s good at heart pretending to be evil because of outside forces…doesn’t that sound…familiar?

Meg mostly specializes in chemistry, I mean she could easily make various lethal toxins or explosives if she wanted to (or some sort of mutagen, you know like the ooze from TMNT lol) but she mostly experiments with different concoctions unless there’s something useful that could be made, I imagine she was the type of kid that mixed several kinds of perfume and soap together to make “potions”

His shirt in the third drawing is meant to be the kind that are just regular ass T-shirts but with a tuxedo print on them (I’ll put a picture below)

I was imagining him having like a casual skater sorta style but I don’t think it’s really showing-

First one is her default everyday look

Second is PJs (fun fact: I was going to put the album cover for Life is Killing Me by Type O Negative on her shirt but it looked weird)

Third is a remake of her formal outfit (before anyone says anything yes it looks like Misa’s dress from Death Note)

The coloring was giving me a hard time but I’m especially proud of Vista’s bubble braid along with the ps3 menu background on her shirt lol
