”Do you think my forgiveness can be so easily gained?" She snaps, purposefully ignoring the pat to her head and how small it made her feel. The nerve of this boy was just as appalling as she recalled, if not worse, which she didn't believe to be humanly possible. It would be strange for him to put any effort into earning her forgiveness, however, as she couldn't think of a time he had ever offered to buy her gifts as an apology-- or apologized at all, for that matter.
