Realizing that Peter Parker didn’t know that Tony made time travel for him is sad. Why wouldn’t it be, but people in the MCU community focus on that repeatedly.

We never look at what Peter Parker got from Tony Stark, only what he lost or didn’t know about Tony Stark

Peter Parker got to live a much longer life because of Tony. He got the chance to be a stronger Spiderman and help more people. He got to save people he cared about and feel like a hero. He got to be chauffeured around New York and trusted enough to fight not only Captain America but also The Falcon and Bucky Barnes. He got to meet and work alongside his heros. Tony Stark gave him so much and yet we never focus on what Peter knows he got, only what he doesn’t know about or what he lost.

Peter could've outgrown the need to have a parental figure, could've become self-sufficient and he has definitely done a damn better job at adulthood than people with more resources than he has but a part of him - the small niggling corner of his mind - will always have those little, little thoughts.

May would hate that I'm living like this.

So yes, bnd has established Peter's adulthood, but I personally think you never outgrow certain parts of life, no matter how old you become.
