♪ UTAUnits ♪

Hi! This is going to be my pinned/intro post, so let's jump right into it!

What/why: an attempt at a long-term UTAU project. It’s my first, so please be patient! I’m here to highlight units: UTAUs from different creators united to sing, often with a concept/motif! It’s much more common in Japan than in the rest of the world (search UTAUあなたのオリジナルユニット大会 to get an idea). I hope to bring more global attention to the idea by making covers with units from all over the world!

When: for a year, starting from 1/15/2022! I've placed a time limit to ease the pressure on myself. Unknown. Currently on hiatus.

Who: just a girl who likes J-pop, K-pop, UTAU

These are the drawings from the last two UTAUnits covers (Our Orbit with Heaven’s bell and Time Machine with Night＊Sky).

The 7th and final unit cover, for now or maybe forever. Who knows? I sure don't ;v;

I will be making one last post with the art I drew for these videos, and then I will log out of this account ^^

There will be two covers this month before the UTAUnits project ends/goes on hiatus! This is cover 1!

久しぶりですね！英語のみですけど、動画の概要欄を読めれば嬉れしいです。

I’ve lost motivation. Also, I’ll be starting college soon, so there are a lot of preparations...! I likely won’t have time once I move in and start taking classes. That’s what I’ve heard ^^;

I know those aren’t good reasons. I’d like to apologize to the 10 or so people who came to check out this project...

Yes, I know we’re nowhere near the 1 year mark I originally intended to hit.

However, I’ve lost confidence and time to work on this project. And it’s not like I was posting often to begin with...

UTAUnits is a 1 year project, so we’re about halfway done now!

I put together a little speedpaint for the occasion~

Cover #5! We’re almost halfway through the year (and the project duration...)

I don’t know how to ask without being awkward, but please reblog and follow...! I wanted to get many people interested in units, but it’s not working >< Even if I wasn’t anonymous, I’d still have few or no connections to popular members of the UTAU community, so I’m relying on luck... I’m feeling discouraged.

Hi hi! Cover #4! This month, we’re showcasing 2 units together thanks to a common link of sorts~

Additionally, I made this UST (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و If there’s interest for it, I’ll clean up the files (they are quite messy) and make it available for download. So don’t be shy~!

The art is posted separately here! I tried posting it before the cover to see if it would be a better promotion strategy... it seems like it isn’t ^^;

Instead of posting the cover before the drawings, I’m going to do it in reverse this time! I want to see if that’s better for promotion!
