often times, I find myself in situations where im getting complimented and it’s like, i really appreciate it, but they always want something back. for example, men, every time you compliment us women and we do not compliment you back it’s like...crickets. silence. we get called a bitch and that’s that. Im tired of even saying thank you. I am sure im not the only female who works with people in the public, that always has one customer that comes in and every single time, “did i ever tell you how beautiful you are?” don’t get me wrong, im actually a really sweet, soft hearted person and i love compliments, but not creepily outspoken comments. the way this older man stares at me every week when he comes in my store is like he could hop across the glass counter and eat me or some shit. on top of that, this mother fucker smells like outside. if you’re going to compliment me, leave a tip $$ behind it.
