Was she going to slap you because you never in any way made him gay in the actual books, taking zero risks/doing absolutely nothing for gay characters in literature, and only announcing your “authorial intent” afterwards for a cheap shot at looking like an ~ally~

It’s a biological fact that fish do indeed change their sex to keep the male/female ratio balanced in their school population. So this fluidity actually makes more sense from a scientific standpoint than the silly idea that merfolk are born with a strictly assigned sex like humans.

Merfolk are all canonically genderfluid and we love them for that

Mmhhmn woke up from a really good dream there was a tv series like Xmen but instead of superheroes they were all exorcists led by an excommunicated nun trying to fix her smoking habit.

Umm each episode would start off in a first person view of somebody moments before being slain by a paranormal entity, then the ex nun would wake up from her psychic nap and go “ahhh fuck it’s a [insert monster here]” followed by a rock themed intro.

Before every battle she brings out a bottle of hand sanitizer. Everybody (including the monster she fights) thinks she’s just being germophobic, but she’s actually blessed the sanitizer like holy water.

Fantasy setting where instead of Necromancy being banned, it’s HEALING that’s illegal for once. Using skeletons for labour? No problem as long as their spirit consents. Healing? As in, manipulating living flesh???? Extending a lifespan to an outrageous 60 years?????? Guillotine.
