WIP of some Mordin sketching I was doing today + bonus comparison between the first Mordin drawing I did and the one today.

I feel like I say it a lot, but I absolutely adore Mordin and I cried so damn hard when he died. He was the first character i ever drew fanart of, and the character I've drawn the most. No matter how bad life gets, I feel more like I can handle it when I sit down to draw him.

The Kili x Tauriel valentines drawing I started like... two years ago and decided to color recently. I had intended to polish it and turn it into an actual piece but I just love the sketchiness of it too much 😩

Obvs they don't exact match the actors, this was only meant for some practice 😌

Zerg Reinhardt is finished ^_^ and it was super fun to do!!

I learned how to draw frogs today and I kinda got carried away.

So trying to figure out how to make an online portfolio is doing my head in and I don't understand why its confusing me so much. The good news is my commission sheets are done, I'm just trying to gather the courage to actually post them. I'm also still working on the video game challenge I started.

In the meantime have some baby ducks I sketched today for practice 😊 they were fun

Oh my god its finally finished 😩 this took sooooo long to complete its not even funny. This was a request from someone who wanted a picture of their Qunari Inquisitor, and honestly Ive learned a lot while working on it. I've never drawn scars realistically before so honestly it was a bit out of my depth but that's ok, its part of the learning experience.

Commission prices will be coming out very soon now that I have finished this piece, please keep an eye out 🙏

I have like. A tiny amount of Fable 3 left then Im finished. So I figured I would post these now as I'll probably forget tomorrow. Fable has such an. Odd. Style that was difficult for me to replicate and in the end i got some weird blend of the game style and my own so. Weird. I have mixed feelings on these sketches. Logan and Reavers faces were difficult, Elliot copped my bad mood scribbling and now looks like he has the plague. But overall. Im happy. I love the sketch of Walter the best tbh. And Sabine. Oh god Sabine was interesting to draw.

Next game on the list is Life is Strange 🙂 Im excited.

Fable 2 scenery because I am really very inexperienced with scenery ^^; I had fun! I like the temple of shadows best tbh, kinda wanting to make it digital 🤔

I was going to work on the coloring more, practice and make it all nice and whatnot. But. My hand hurt so much and I spent 2 days pushing through it to finish what is there. Westcliff didnt get any color, clearly, but ngl I kinda prefer it to be all sketchy.

Next is Fable 3 🙂

I got soo close to just not posting these and pretending I never drew them. See Ive been in a bit of a hole when it comes to art lately. And I wanted to try something.

What I've done is make a list of games I own, some Ive played before and some Ive never touched. I used a website to randomise the order and set myself some rules.

1) I have to complete the game using no exploits, on the hardest difficulty available and it just has to be the main story. I can do extra stuff if I want but main story is all thats important.

2) I have to draw stuff while playing. Prioritising things I've never done before. And the drawings have to be as close to the games art style as possible.

3) I am not allowed to use an eraser. I rely too heavily on it and i want to kick that habit. The only thing i am allowed to erase is words like titles or captions. If i erase anything in the sketch I must erase the whole sketch and start over.

So the fable trilogy was the first on my list. And I produced these. Im not sure what happened tbh, I enjoyed drawing these stupid little sketches. But when I went to post these today I just. I couldn't? These are garbage compared to what I *know* I can draw and i was really down on myself.

But thanks to some lecturing from loved ones Im posting them anyway. Despite the quality drop I truly enjoyed the experience. Next up is fable 2. Lets hope by the end of it I have stopped being so hard on myself.

A few days ago I was missing drawing aliens and monsters so I sketched some beasties out of the Witcher. I might not like the games but damn they have some cool looking monsters 🤤🤤

The seedy looking one is my favorite 😂

It occurred to me today that the beautiful color pencils I got for Christmas haven't been used much so I decided it was time for some small doodles ^_^ and the baby dragons are so cute in World of Warcraft that honestly how could I not 😂

WIP dump because I'm a butt and haven't been active.

I've been having zero motivation to draw but I pushed myself to start 3 more pieces the other day.

In order we have:

☆baseline sketch of Kili and Tauriel from the Hobbit

☆another baseline sketch of Thranduil and a currently unnamed woman for a character project that I was supposed to do like a year ago.

☆A redraw of Tauriels poster thing that everyone seems to love redrawing, I'm doing it as simply practice

☆Another progress pic of the Tauriel pic. I got to this point and realised hands are hard, lips suck and I hate the patterns on her clothing so. Regret. Might not finish. Who knows at this point

☆Turtles, because I was gonna do a creature mashup and one of the animals was a turtle but I'd never drawn them before so I figured I should sketch some out. Then gave up to play StarCraft

And that's all, just trying to get a post up on this page so I don't forget. Maybe I'll be able to finish.
