But i believe it takes a strong person full of courage to stand or sit alone to make a statement against something or someone you love when you see unjust things being done. What happened in Dallas to those police officers was deplorable, unignorable. But has our great nation ever looked in the mirror and openly admitted how it has in the past and still sometimes treats people of color is and has been deplorable. For Colin Kaepernick, despite his financial success as a professional athlete, it was something he chose not to ignore. Were slaves un-American for not singing the national anthem? Was the national anthem played during jim crow? Civil protest and the uncommon courage of a few forced America to finally address and correct deplorable wrongs. It takes UNCOMMON courage to speak out, risk millions, in an attempt to help millions more who have NOBODY standing up for them." Man made labels for someone heaven sent, she's the beautiful angel in my life. When i needed a hug, someone to care, regardless of my faults or mistakes, I awakened and my angel was still there. So blessed to have an angel in my life. Delicate and beautiful her skin, those wings. She forgave my sins, and began to sing a melody that touched my empty soul. Once strong, weakened by this lonely empty journey, standing on the edge of a ledge, hidden tears as i silently screamed out to the world, my angel heard me.
