whumper convincing whumpee they're incompetent. handling every part of their life to the point that whumpee genuinely doesn't know how to navigate being an adult without them. mocking and shunning them when they make a genuine attempt at doing something themselves, patronising and talking to them like a child
...and then using this against them, to make them feel trapped. and in a lot of ways, they are, even if they're not held at gunpoint or anything. whumper putting down whumpee, then letting them do what they were going to do, only with no help and the watchful eye of whumper clearly holding back a laugh. until they inevitably mess it up, and whumper uses this as a reason for why they just aren't allowed to do anything
