Since the epidemy blowed up, Gavin ran out of his town with what little he found and began looking for place to hide. It was already 3 months since he ran away from zombies. All that he had now was a few sandwiches and a bottle of water in his backpack and a gun that was attached to his belt, with small amount of ammo.
He kept himself away from bigger cities. He didn't want to ran into some huge hord of zombies. When he was running along some road, he heard a few cracks of leaves behind himself. It was a Clicker...
He crouched down and slowly came a little closer, aiming his gun and when he was sure that this shot will kill the creature he fired. Did he listen if there was other zombies? Of course not! Now he could hear them even too much.
There was a lot of Runners. He began running as fast as he could just to get away and be safe. When 3 minutes of running passed he ran into some forest. He looked over his shoulder to see how many was after him but then he felt a root under his leg as it twisted his ankle and made him shout in pain. It was stuck! No matter how hard he tried to pull it out he just couldn't and the zombies were closer with every second passing. Was it his end?

The city had almost run out of food. Even though she had set up her small camp up high were no Clicker could actually reach. The lack of food was becoming more that a little annoying. There wasn’t much left now. Just a few convenience stores had some old sandwiches left. She was surprised they weren’t full of mould by now. The idea often had her stomach turn, especially when she considered what Cordyceps was. Nope she couldn’t deal with the prospect of mouldy food, so she’d basically become a fruitarian unless she discovered some tinned food with a shelf life of years.
Right now she was foraging, there was a large bush of blackberries and it was only just on the outskirts of town. Just under a flyover that led out into the countryside. Though when she heard the gunshot she almost dropped the container of fruit. Juliette had clearly worn out her welcome today and placed the top on the container and slipped it into her bag, slinging it over her shoulder.
It was time to leave and she walked back towards the road, but on the way she could hear the moans of an excited hoard. picking up the pace she found a sturdy tree and climbed up it enough so that she would be hard to be spotted by any Runner. Keeping an eye out she soon realised they weren’t looking for her.
She could see a man making them work for their dinner, until he tripped, oh fuck she couldn’t look. With out any thought she came down from the tree, he was only a few paces beyond it and the horde not too far behind. Juliette pulled his foot from the tree root. “Can you walk?!” Not wanting to hang around she yanked him to his feet not even caring how much it might hurt. “You don’t get your ass moving you’re dead!”
