the ever-expanding universe~

for example grillby is made of literal stardust, he’s literally a star good for him, i don’t know anyone else but i think the skelebros are something glittery and sparkly [toriel and asgore comet-coded in some way?]

the plot is absolutely nothing like undertale for what i have of it….. all i know is the monsters don’t go planet-side ever [do they not know there’s life on them? did something happen? maybe earth in particular, being the only planet (that we know of) to support sapient life, it just never occurred to them to look? who knows man]

anyway monsters never touch down on any planet, they prefer dancing among the stars, but maybe one day someone [i’m so desperately trying NOT to use sans but the brain worms are latching onto him because he has 1 hp it makes sense maybe he’s too weak to get around despite his magic strength maybe papyrus helps him get around—] ahem SOMEONE gets caught in earth’s gravitational pull, can’t get out, and ends up “falling” to ground, later discovered by our good friend frisk who by extension learns about Those Guys Who Live In Space

[maybe asriel fell once before? and that was how he was lost? maybe that’s why monsters no longer stray too close to planets? maybe chara found asriel, then, but those above never figured out what happened to him. they never looked. they never found him]

maybe sans’ shortcuts were discovered because space and time go hand in hand and he figured out how to manipulate that. he’s weak in body and cannot travel the stars the way the others do but his mind and magic are strong and he found alternatives. ways to get around without papyrus’ help. but it’s not foolproof, because space is infinity and you must know the road you are travelling before you can reach its end

[and there is nothing to escape from so alphys never had to create the amalgamates. what would have happened, if one warped space in such a way? you cannot stop a star from going supernova, you would only hasten its transformation into a black hole. but if there are no amalgamates, then there is no core. and if there is no core, then what of the man who speaks in hands?]

they are of the stars, of comets, of moons and asteroids and nebulae and matter. but planets share their universe. and humans are made of space dust, too
