     𝐈𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃  to  be  a  simple  day  ,  having a  brought  his  daughter  to  her  weekly  football  games  on  friday  -  ever  encouraging  her  to  ball  down  whoever  stood  in  the  way  of  victory  .  words  that  would  soon  come  to  haunt  him  however  ,  his  darling  warrior  ,  a  fierce  player  returned  with  a  broken  arm  and  𝐒𝐖𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍  rips  .  (  varn  unable to  hide  his  anger  towards  the  child  responsible  .  )  quickly  enough  they  found  themselves  in  hospital  .  praying  that  his  daughter  was  otherwise  unharmed  .  the  simplest  of  bruises  allowing  a  fatherly  heart  to  𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄  .  fingers  brushed  through  softer  hair  as  a  means  to  calm  the  little  one  down  .  (  being  far  too  trusting  of  people  still  .  )  

     𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑  opened  ,  hues  fixed  on  the  female  entering  .  giving  her  a  relieved  yet  still  worried  smile  .  ❝  she’s  got  a  broken  arm  i  think  ,  also  bruises  along  her  rips  .  .  .  ❞  (  whatever  information  gathered  boiled  over  .  )  hoping  that  there  was  a  quick  way  to  ease  his  daughters  pain  .  ❝  please  help  her  ,  she’s  been  in  pain  ever  𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄  that  fuckin’  football  hit  her  .  ❞

     𝐅𝐎𝐑  𝐁𝐔𝐓  𝐀  second  his  guard  had  been  let  down  ,  the  consequences  of  this  failure  felt  through  every  fiber  of  his  being  .  perfectly  ironed  suit  ruined  by  the  hands  of  a  lesser  being  -  a  man  that  proclaimed  himself  to  be  the  savior  of  the  order  .  (  though  the  admiral  was  no  𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇  child  .  )  in  response  ,  he  too  could  not  hide  the  laugh  that  left  bruised  lips  .  a  petty  attempt  to  win  an  ally  indeed  .  varn  sought  for  more  .  ❝  i  do  𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄  that  your  ego  is  overinflated  ,  perhaps  it  is  time  that  someone  puts  you  in  your  place  .  ❞  an  answer  that  would  have  been  understood  by  the  most  daftest  of  species  .  the  general  carried  power  ,  had  the  will  to  strike  at  adan  so  openly  -  yet  he  still  was  no  𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇  .  (  assassinating  armitage  had  come  to  mind  .  )  but  the  vacuum  of  such  loss  would  be  filled  with  further  arrogance  and  hunger  for  power  .  face  𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐊𝐒  away  from  cold  gloved  hands  ,  pushing  the  body  off  of  his  body  .  fast  enough  to  grasp  for  his  blaster  almost  automatically  .  (  aiming  precision  focused  on  the  ginger  before  him  .  )  ❝  𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐍  you  will  be  a  dead  little  boy  .  ❞

     𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐒  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄  true  eventually  ,  child  like  obsession  eating  away  whatever  was  left  of  the  loyal  solider  .  his  will  ever  forced  upon  others  -  desires  never  mended  .  the  cold  steel  pressed  upon  his  uniform  allowing  a  smile  to  appear  .  (  knowing  that  news  had  reached  the  𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑  .  )  all  had  been  laid  bear  ,  the  empire  growing  suspicious  of  krennics  work  ethnic  ,  of  his  affection  towards  galen  .  was  it  truly  just  friendship  ?  ❝  do  not  look  so  surprised  ,  orson  .  i  have  warned  you  about  .  .  .  your  lack  of  𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓  .  ❞  gloved  fingers  grasp  the  end  of  the  blaster  ,  recklessly  placing  it  upon  his  forehead  .  (  until  now  ,  varn  still  believed  his  mind  could  be  changed  .  )  a  push  was  all  but  𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃  .
