She took me 7 and a half hours on the digital portion and around 2 hours on the traditional portion (I’m really slow at art)
About that- for some reason my lizard brain thought art fight was in June and I missed it. Nope. It’s in July. And for the last 2 days I’ve been drawing basically nonstop.
Anyway
As we know I’ve been incredibly project Hail Mary pilled (it made me remember Tumblur existed) and I’ve been seeing a ton of incredibly talented artists drawing their own silly little guys so I decided I wanted one of my own. Also if you look closely at the timelapse below you can see that I haven’t done digital art (with detail) in 4 years. Listen man I love me some digi art but pencils are just so much easier to work with…
Emery is my main Eridian. I actually adore her so much. In middle school I was a hugeee geology nerd and while that was years ago I still remember a lot. As soon as I got the idea to make a little Eridian I knew I needed mine to be Rhodonite. I ADORE the little pink rocks.
I’m currently working on the first chapter of my fanfic for her. I’m super slow at writing (wahoo… fucking dyslexia) I really want to make comics for her and her mate but making comics fucking sucks and my motivation is currently a dumpster fire so… that won’t be happening for a bit.
