I’ve always been a fan of Undertale since late 2017, it really kicked into high gear during the pandemic where I would just watch endless hours of comics dubs and reading comics on deviant art. I especially loved UT AUS idk the concept of changing something and making a story with it was very fascinating to me. Though, I guess I never got into sans centric AUS.

I did prefer the ones that involved everyone (or gaster cause I was..no I still am a Gaster simp ICL) Every now and then I will go a re-read an AU I saw years ago to get the creative nostalgic feeling back. Handplates really changed me as a person, that’s probably my favorite UT AU ever.

I always wanted to make an UT AU for as long as I could remember, but I couldn’t think of any ideas. All of them were hitting walls. So, one day, during the infamous TT “ban” I was scrolling on Bluesky and I saw my friend make a post about an UT AU concept she thought of. Idk that post suddenly made the lightbulb in my head go off 😭

I was (well maybe still am) super hyper fixated on RTC at that time, so my brain went like “Wait…what if I put UT AU and Headless Girl with doll head” into the same place. Of course, as i said before, this is inspired by RTC, but uhh only the getting beheaded and using a doll head part.—

Thus, Unidentified Was Born! “Why is it called “Unidentified”? I always liked it when AU creators don’t put “under” or “tale” into their AU names. Cuz idk you start confusing them after a while XD

After that, I spent months working on concepts and story before I finally had the confidence to post my stuff (albeit, very slowly)

I do wish unidentified COULD be a comic, but I don’t have time or talent to do that shit😭 However, I could still make interludes^^

So, idk I feel like my AU fits most of my boxes for things I like in a UT AU

• non sans centric/ Kinda Gaster Focused? He’s like the 3rd most important character? Good enough!

• having a unique concept that can still fit into the UT world (you’ll eventually get it)

• having the AU name not have “under” or “tale” in it
