“Michael! No!” But she was too late. Michael stood before the beast, and she held out her arm in a helpless attempt to get him back.
Michael snarled, his fangs lengthening and his body changed into his hybrid form. He glanced at her once, shaking his head
“But Micheal….” She whispered to him, but it was hopeless. He was too stubborn for her to get him back. A sigh escaped her lips as she looked at the two that stood in front of Michael.
One of them spoke, “There he is!” His tongue was thick with the accent of a Hungarian vampire.

"That is understandable." Selene gave a slight smile, barely showing her fang.

"Michael followed her behind the alley wall. He, too, could hear the pounding of the vampire’s feet against the cold concrete. He turned to Selene, kissed her, and then took off to protect them. "
Selene felt a chill go down her body as she felt his lips touch hers. "Michael! No!" She yelled for him, but she was too late. He stood before the beast and she lay behind the wall, holding out her arm, helplessly begging for him to come back.
Selene Helps Me Cope
Something tells me that it is weird to have such a love for a vampire, much less one such as her. But her bad-ass personality helps me cope with my self-loathing mind.

Selene nodded once, "Ah, Marius, yes. I know of him." She looked to the tall elf. "It is odd to encounter someone such as you."
The tall elf bow lightly, hand over his heart, "Mae govannen my lady. My lord Marius told me to come and make your acquaintance. I hope you fair well."
Selene looked puzzled at first but then bowed back, as if she knew what she was doing. She mustered a smile and stood back up. "Thank you."

Selene clinched her fist slightly, “My name is Selene,” She gave no more information than that. She place her tongue on her fang, holding back the urge to tear his throat. Her eyes gleamed at the man, “And you are someone in my way. She looked over the man’s shoulder, “Watch out!” As the man ducked, a beast leaped over and attacked Selene. She moved swiftly and dodged the attack. She pulled the gun from her boot and shot the beast directly in the head, letting it fall.
Selene wiped a bit of blood from her face with the back of her hand and furrowed her brows at the lycan. Why would they openly attack me like that? She looked at the man over her shoulder.
Marius crouched down as instructed, his lips peeling back in a horrified snarl as he hissed loudly. “What was that thing?” He spat, having lost a bit of his formality.
His gaze locked upon the corpse before him. It was like a wolf, only it was human as well. In all of the ancient immortal’s days, he had never seen a creature such as this.
Selene felt a chill run down her body as the man spoke, "A lycan. Probably the most disgusting creature I've seen. They give no mercy and I guess they were stupid enough to attack in front of you.. " She looked to the man, "I will dispose of him. Why don't you leave and act as if this never happened? Or I may as well kill you."
Underworld
Marius cocked his head to the side, dropping the body of his victim back into the pile of garbage from whence it came. An immortal was near. He could hear her thoughts in the back of his mind. Then, when he was just getting ready to return home, she dropped from the sky. He spun around quickly—unsure whether she had used the cloud gift or simply jumped from the roof. “Greetings, signora.” He called softly to her.
She could not decide at first to make contact or to just run. She narrowed her eyes a bit and then spoke softly, “Evening,” was all that she said. She kept her distance as she studied the character.
Marius pulled his cloak back around him correctly. He didn’t step towards her, but instead took a step to the side as to block the alley way. “I have not met you before, and yet you share the dark gift. What is your name?” He radiated regality, his chin held high and his white-blonde hair shining under the light of the moon and stars.
