I live in Ecuador. I can confirm. Llamas love biting. And spitting. They even like to fake charging at you even when you don’t have food. And their wool, while warm, isn’t as soft. Alpacas are just the softest, chillest, dinkiest little quadrupeds you’ll ever find and that’s why people here steal them from each other constantly.

My parents took me to a farm every weekend for several years when I was in jr high with sheep, llamas and alpacas and they are all very sweet. A llama kicked my dad in the chest but my dad was a jerk and we didn’t know it yet so honestly I think llamas are pretty dope

A reminder that turning in assignments for partial credit is better than not turning them in at all. It is. Even if you think you’ve done a bad job and are ashamed of your work, or it’s way overdue, you take whatever you can get. Partial credit dramatically improves your grade over a zero, and I’m always astounded by how often even the smartest kids don’t really comprehend that. 60% is worlds better than 0%. Even 10% is going to help you. Letter grades are misleading and are not created equal. “F"s are mathematically valuable. Turn that late assignment in.

You know, with all the language throughout Star Wars about “giving in” to the Dark Side, how the Dark Side makes you more powerful, how the Dark Side makes you age strangely and destroys you, it sure doesn’t sound like an “opposite side of the coin” so much as the “deeper end of the pool,” like it’s actually the true form of the force and being a Jedi is about keeping it tamed so it doesn’t eat you the way it actually wants.

i am alive. kotor is a fucking blessing and im honestly so pissed they de-canonized it because that shit was a wealth of incredibly deep and fascinating world building they essentially tossed out the window. Kotor offered an entirely different perspective on the force; there is so much more to it than the antiquated good vs. evil concept we see in the films. 

I always imagined “the narrow path of the Jedi” like a surfer riding a wave and desperately balancing to stay above the water as long as they can, whereas the Dark Side would be more like becoming the wave, rolling with it and all its power - but ultimately, like every wave, breaking.

There’s no way you watch Rey and Finn’s reunion and think Rey doesn’t love him - look at the sigh of relief she lets out when she sees him, the way her shoulders relax, the quick blinking away of tears when she looks at him. Since they separated everything’s been so hard and horrible for her and now she can finally let her guard down a little, reunited with a person she knows she can trust absolutely, after all the the people who have lied to her and tried to manipulate her. She knows she’s safe with him and she’s so relieved that he’s safe too and it’s so clear from her body language that just seeing Finn again takes a weight off her shoulders. That’s love, folks
