Man fears death--- and for obvious reasons. Death takes, death conquers, death destroys. A happy boy becomes an orphan, a child is shown that the world preys on the weak, a young girl loses her father, a babe is put on a dark path, and a woman loses the only man in her life that mattered.
For eons man has tried to cheat death, to escape it. And as a result man must face the grim reminder that no matter how close they get to gods they shall remain mortal.
And yet death teaches, death gives, and it loves. For death is the one who taught the sacred messiah the purpose to live, what matters in life. Death is the one who allowed for the world to live on, death allowed for the boy, the child, the young girl, the woman, and the youngling to grow and learn together. To have a bond that will reach the status that man could never. The FOOL recognized this as he faced Death with a smile.
And the FOOL became something.
Makoto Yuki is the reminder that death is both beautiful and cruel.
