My family has been going through a lot of changes, not all of them good, and my work has been having a lot of troubles recently. My boss is quitting soon and with literally no one else at our store that can take over her position, Iâve been offered it. Although my decision is still not final.

What happens: After Yamcha is taken by surprise and subsequently killed by a self destructing Saibaman, the remaining Z fighters fully realize the danger theyâre in. The first to respond is Krillin, who surprises both his allies and enemies by charging up an attack powerful enough to wipe out nearly all of the remaining Saibamen in one blast.Â
Why it is his best moment: Krillin unfortunately became the butt end of a lot of death jokes in DBZ. This is really unfair, especially seeing how brave he actually shows himself to be. To paraphrase a famous quote from Eddard Stark, the only time a man can be brave is when he is afraid. Krillin seriously shows his power in this fight, not just in a literal sense, but in an essence of soul. He avenges his fallen friend as best he can, even having enough gall to send a blast down upon the Saiyans to test their might. It really shows the audience that he is still a competent fighter and this subsequently shows as he is one of the last remaining fighters in the ensuing battle.Â
Talkinâ shit on Gohan⌠Iâm still super low key pleased when Vegeta speaks highly of Gohan at all though, through this series and the last few seasons of DBZ okay. Like the kid grew on him and itâs cool to me.

So this is going to seem kind of random, but Iâve been wanting to get this off my chest for a while now and seeing as I have both the time and knowledge currently to do it, I figured why the heck not.
SO, in case youâve been living under a rather sizable rock for the last decade, the triple A gaming industry (triple A being the highest funded and advertised games on the market) have taken a definite turn towards making their games as multiplayer friendly as possible across both console and pc gaming. You can see it everywhere from Mortal Kombat X, to Call of Duty to even Assassinâs Creed Unity. The reasons behind this shift are pretty easy to understand. Companies know that gamers love to show off their skills, and beating other people can often be a lot more satisfying than beating down mindless bots. They also know that it can make for a lot more sales as a good multiplayer will mean friend groups will all have to get a copy of the game so they can all play together, word of mouth sells the game for them and they potentially double or triple their revenue. I personally have absolutely no problem with a single player game like The Last of Us having a multiplayer option, in fact I applaud it. What is wrong is whatâs happened just recently, about the same time the latest generation of consoles hit the market and that is the shift to Multiplayer ONLY.Â
The reasons this is wrong are so many.Â
First, it alienates people who simply donât like multiplayer and cuts off a good portion of potential buyers. Their target demographic pretty much remains teen to young adult males (and yes, their targets are definitely still males, just shows you how infantile the triple A gaming industry is), which means they are limiting themselves tremendously and pretty much dooming their own game to failure.Â
Second, it eliminates the possibility for a good old fashioned relaxing gaming experience, for when you are playing against other people, even in the most chill of settings, it is not relaxing. It is constantly competitive and the skill curve spikes so quickly from release that people picking up the game a week after launch will find themselves heavily outmatched by players with both superior equipment and skill. This too will alienate new players quickly and discourage them from further purchases of multiplayer only titles.Â
Third, (and this is a big one), the game devalues FAST. Taking Evolve as an example, it didnât take long for people to realize that the gameplay gimmick was shallow and repetitive, leading to a significant drop in itâs player base after the first couple of WEEKS. Nowadays, youâd be lucky just to get into a multiplayer lobby, let alone actually get a game going, simply because people have moved on, thereâs so much out there and repetitive games get stale. So why on earth should people buy Evolve anymore? The game is practically worthless if the only way to play it is online, and the online lobbies are EMPTY.Â
Lastly, itâs just a lazy thing for companies to do. Sure, itâs a hell of a lot easier to just make mechanics and textures and gameplay options than an entire story with proper characters and narrative and all, but as with the real world, laziness often means poorer results. There is not a SINGLE multiplayer only game that stands out as being a noteworthy experience and they throw away the true potential of video games as an evolving and meaningful entertainment medium. It would be like if every major movie released was another spin off of Transformers with CGI constantly being piled into your face and having more explosions than an ISIS camp on Guy Fawkes day.Â
It is dumb, and it is insulting to us as gamers that we are being recommended these games as something that we should experience when they are essentially a carbon copy of one another with a different time and aesthetic applied. Star Wars Battlefront was the last straw to me and I personally find it the most insulting multiplayer only title ever made. It played Star Wars fans for fools and milked them for every dollar they had with their FIFTY DOLLAR DLC, simply because they thought that fans would want it.Â
It is not right, and it canât keep happening. I have never bought a multiplayer only title in my life simply because I refuse to give my money to a company so lazy and so greedy that they canât even bother to make something worthwhile. How do I know so much about them then? I make it my business to know. People should be well informed before being suckered into this shit. You canât buy one of these titles and then tell people not to because by then, youâve already lost. The companies responsible simply DONâT CARE if you donât like it, seeing as youâve already bought it. Youâve already lost. Fight back, refuse to buy into their shit, let them see for themselves how terrible their decision was to make a Multiplayer only title. Itâs the only way gaming as a whole can develop from this stagnancy into something enlightening and rewarding once again. Â

Viewing his print may place you in a sad mood however as you reflect upon the deeper meaning of balloon animals, bulbous red noses, and tragic kitchen fires.
âŚas we step forward, looking into the second iteration of the Sims, you will find the Grilled Cheese Aspiration!
You can unlock this aspiration by eating a grilled cheese⌠or three.
Once you finish the aspiration, youâll unlock the Melt Master trait, where you will learn:

Summon Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with but a thought
And unlock the ability to evangelize about Grilled Cheese SandwichesâŚbecause cheese!
