Buying a laptop should not be this miserable
I just bought a laptop. It was a treat for myself for my law studies, which I'm starting later this year. The packaging said it didn't come with a power supply, which is fine, so I bought one extra. I also bought a keyboard, pen, and docking station.
Turns out, "no power supply" nowadays means "no power supply or cable". That's fine, I have cables at home. What do you mean the laptop and the power supply for the laptop want a two-sided USB-C cable? Went back, bought one.
Now imagine my surprise when my pen, which in my experience has never even needed electricity, needs to be charged! Surely, since there is no cable, it will just take any USB-C charger.
Nope, it wants a specific pen charger. Guess I'm going out again to buy a pen charger.
At least the docking station came with its own cables and power supply.
