Introduction (very old) Design refreshes Must Read Official Birthdays For The Characters

Volume 1

Hey yall time to finally announce what’s going on. Me and my team realized that no matter how we pace ourselves, semester course work keeps getting in the way, so we needed to come up with a solution.

We decided that we will work on the comic only on school breaks. So that means summer and winter breaks (summer 4 months and winter 1).

Meanwhile during the semester we’ll be working on less taxing stuff. Like concept art and other projects. Writing will also be a main focus during this time.

Each human had at least one person we call a “caretaker”. Which is basically an adult monster or experienced monster who would’ve been there for the human during their time in the underground.

Morgan: she didn’t have a caretaker per se but she did have flowey and a child version of sans who traveled with her. She also befriended Rory from that sketch concept art I had, but she’s similar to dalv as she was only in one section and didn’t follow Morgan everywhere.

Nick: he had a band of misfits consisted of six other orphaned monsters, one who is familiar to all of us is Undyne. There is another major monster in that story that’s completely made up and appears in nicks story and also Percy/rosemarys story.

Stella: she only had two befriended monsters. Biao the Royal Guard Captain (who’s the one holding her in the speedpaint WIP) and Kanako. There is a minor ghost character who possessed a mannequin in a ballroom area, which we will visit in Undertale rainbow, and in Undertale rainbow this ghost is revealed to be someone we know.

Percy and Rosemary: their stories are intertwined with each other, so they both have overlapping monsters. Coron the crown jelly fish (and by Rosemarys time, ex royal scientist), Rudy Snowday, and the same monster that we see in nicks game (who also an ex royal scientist).

Just Rosemary: Rosemary does have one monster that only applies to her, whose name is Benicia the Bull.

I did this on the side for fun and—while I wanted to wait till I finished Chara and frisk before posting—I decided to just post the dead kids for now while everyone’s waiting patiently for the next 5 pages ✨

I used a lot of reference photos for this and was able to kinda make them look like they fit. I don’t normally do pixel art so please give critiques where it’s due 🫶

The first 6 are the normal ones, and the second 6 are the ghost versions. Morgan and Percy are my favs, what are yours?
