UnderSwitch

UnderSwitch is an UnderTale AU where Frisk is young and super smart for her age. She also has trauma and ptsd because of her parents. In Chapter 1, she wears an astronaut helmet because the air on the Surface is dirty and makes it really hard for her to breathe, but the air in the Underground is much cleaner.

SIDE NOTE: I'm writing this while playing a True Pacifist Run on Undertale, so when I don't update this for a while, that means i haven't had a chance to play Undertale in a while.

There are a small number of characters and other stuff that are switched with each other, hence the "Switch" part of the name. Here they are:

Alphys rips off her helmet and stares directly at me. Her glare is piercing, and I hide behind Sans a little bit.

“YOU! You’re standing in the way of everybody’s hopes and dreams! Undyne’s history books made me think humans were cool, with their giant swords and flowery swordsmen. BUT YOU!? You’re just a coward!”

“SHE’S ONLY FIVE!”

“SHUT UP, SANS! I’M NOT DONE. You, human, abandoned your friend just so you could run away!”

I whisper something to Papyrus. He nods and says, “the kid was petrified. she couldn’t move. she wanted to help, but she–”

Alphys shoots Papyrus a glare, and he shuts up.

“And let’s not forget your wimpy goody-two-shoes-schtick, human!”

Alphys dons a mocking tone and says, “Oooh! I’m making such a difference by hugging random strangers! You know what would be more valuable to everyone? IF YOU WERE DEAD!!!”

I stare at the ground, memories of my drunk parents yelling at me, saying that I was better off dead and whatnot. Papyrus sees how I reacted to Alphys’s comment and squeezes my hand gently to get my attention. I look up at him, and he gives me a warm grin. I smile back.

“Hey! Papyrus! Stop that!”

“nah.”

“Ugh, nevermind. Anyway, human! Your life is all that stands between us and our freedom! Right now, I can feel everyone’s hearts pounding together! Everyone’s been waiting their whole lives for this moment!”

“ALPHYS, WAIT. HOWEVER TRUE THAT STATEMENT IS, WE CAN’T USE A CHILD’S SOUL! ESPECIALLY NOT THIS ONE’S. FRISK, HERE, HAS HER WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF HER, AND USING HER SOUL TO GET REVENGE ON HUMANITY IS NOT WHAT ANYONE WHO SHE HAS BEFRIENDED WOULD WANT!”

“Sans, if you don’t shut up, so help me! Now, human! Let’s end this, right here, right now. I’ll show you how determined monsters can be! Step forward when you’re ready! Fuhuhuhu!”

I look back and see a savepoint. Player moves me to it, and I reach out.* The wind is howling. You’re filled with determination…Sans and Papyrus all hug me and encourage me. Papyrus gives me an orange scarf.

“this scarf has a pretty high def, 20 to be exact, and it heals 5 HP after every turn. now c’mon.”

I nod and step forward.

“That’s it, then…! No more running away! HERE I COME!!!!!”

Alphys dives at me, sword first.

Alphys slowly gets closer.

“What are you standing there for, dude? Get over here and help!”

I try to get closer. I can't move.

He cries out something.

MK falls, and Alphys jumps after him.MK says something to Alphys. He accuses me of something…

Player comes back.

What'd I miss?

What do you mean, ‘what'd I miss?’ MK just fell, and Alphys saved him. I… couldn't really hear what he said.

Oh, sorry. I was grabbing a snack.

…?

Player moves me to the next room, where Sans and Papyrus are waiting for me.

Alphys stands at the top of the cliff.

“Seven. Seven human souls, and King EZRAAN will become a god.”

She turns.

“Six. That's how many we have collected thus far.”

She turns to us.

“Under– Sans? Papyrus? What are you two doing here?”

“we're here to help the human get past you.”

“Why!?”

“BECAUSE SHE'S ONLY FIVE! AND SHE IS SO TRAUMATIZED THAT SHE CAN'T EVEN SPEAK!”

“So what? I've fought humans younger than her!”

“but she's also traumatized.”

Darkness quickly encompasses me, and I have to crawl my way to the next lantern just so I don't get lost.

I reach the next room. At the back is an echo flower. Darkness encompasses me again. I lean in to listen to the flower.

* B e h i n d y o u .

The darkness disappears.

Alphys stands a few feet away. She takes a few heavy steps toward me.

“... Seven,” she says calmly. “Seven human souls. With the power of seven human souls, our king… King EZRAAN Dreemurr… will become a god. With that power, EZRAAN can finally shatter the barrier. He will finally take the surface back from humanity… And give them back the suffering and pain that we have endured.”

My heart is racing. Alphys is so calm, and that's what scares me. I can barely breathe.

“Understand, human? This is your only chance at redemption. Give up your soul…”

She lifts her sword, ready to lunge at me.

“Or I'll tear it from your body.”

Alphys takes a few steps forward, then runs at me. I flinch away, and my SOUL flickers, preparing for a FIGHT.

At the last second, MK hops out of some tall grass and says, “Alphys!!! I'll help you fight!!!”

He looks at Alphys's sword, then at me.

“YO!!!!” MK says excitedly. “You did it!!! Alphys is RIGHT in front of you!!! You've got front row seats to her fight!!!”

He then looks at the sword again, then at what I can only assume is the real life equivalent of the camera of a show like The Office.

“... wait. Who's she fighting???”

Oh, how oblivious MK is.

Alphys grabs his cheek and drags him off.

“H-hey! You aren't gonna tell my parents about this, are you?”

I'm petrified by fear. I can't move. My eyes are wide and my mouth is slightly ajar. My ears are ringing loudly, muffling all other sounds. Player has to intervene. They make me push forward. I walk past echo flowers and reach a bridge.

I'm about to step off the bridge when Player stops. I think I hear MK say “Yo!”

I turn around. MK approaches me.He says something. Rants would be the right word.

Player says No to him. Must've asked a question.

At the end of the Asriel battle in the genocide run, Flowey will appear to absorb Asriel's soul before it shatters. Even if he is decimated after killing Ezraan.

On that note, Chara will regain his body after absorbing his brother's soul.

On the first time, he'll say, "I knew it was a mistake to make that deal with you."

If you decide to do another genocide after killing him, a few things will be different.

Hera will make snail pie

Napstablook will actively hunt you down in the Ruins, but will avoid you after you kill Hera

Papyrus uses a shock button in the hand instead of a whoopee cushion in the hand

Chara will say, before his fight, "You sicko! Why are you doing this?"

Fifth genocide in a row is hard mode. Before Chara fights you, he'll say, "You sadistic b###h! Why do you keep doing this!?"

After the fifth genocide, you choose whether to do genocide before selecting a name. If genocide is chosen, Lv begins carrying over because the difficulty skyrockets with each genocide.

Are they the same?

Sans is standing there, waiting for me. Papyrus is next to me…?

“hey bro,” Papyrus says.

“THERE YOU ARE! WHERE WERE YOU?”

“just picking up frisk.”

“Hey Sans,” I mutter.

“HI FRISK!”

“anyway, i called you here so we can discuss how we’re gonna get frisk past alphys. the kid can’t fight in her current condition, and alphys is relentless.”

“WHAT’S WRONG WITH FRISK?”

“she…” Papyrus begins.

“Something happened in the tall grass, and I had a panic attack. MK couldn’t do anything because he doesn’t know the first thing about human anatomy or psychology,” I interrupt.

“O-OH. I SEE. W-WELL THEN.”

“That, and he didn't even realize that I was panicking.”

“THAT MAKES THINGS WORSE.”

“Yeah, it does.”

…

After a long discussion and selling a lot of dog residue, the four of us decide that Asriel and Player get me to Alphys, and Sans and Papyrus help me fight her.

And with that, Sans and Papyrus disappear, and I leave Temmie Village.

After a bit, a FIGHT starts. Two Moldsmals.

* You walk into Moldsmal.

I press ACT and select the name that isn't yellow.

I approach the not-bouncing Moldsmal to imitate it, when suddenly, a Moldbygg rises from the ground!

A lot of spore-like bullets fill the bullet board, and I manage to not get hit.

* Moldbygg gyrates reservedly.

I'm intimidated by Moldbygg's size. I press ACT again and open Moldbygg's ACT menu.

Check, Lie Down, Hug, and Unhug. I select Unhug.

* You don't hug Moldbygg.

* It appreciates your respect for its boundaries.

Spore bullets fall from the top, and tiny Moldbyggs come down from the top and roar at my SOUL.

I spare both monsters.

* YOU WON!

* You earned 0 EXP and 20 gold.

And on we go. The next room darkens slowly, and there are lanterns scattered about the maze of paths. I get about halfway through the maze when…

* Woshua and Aaron appear.

Asriel attempts to scare Aaron away, and I ask Woshua to clean me. It does, and Aaron says some flirty quip about not needing a swimsuit while sweating bullets. Asriel, disgusted by this, yeets Aaron away from me.

I decide to go visit Napstablook, so I head up the middle path. I enter the house on the left and gremlin-walk up to Napstablook. I shout hello, and he jumps so hard he vanishes for a moment.

“oh… f-frisk, it’s just you…… you scared me,” he says.

I apologize with a sheepish grin. Then, I go over to his fridge and ask him if I could have a snack.

“oh… are you hungry… i can get you something to eat…”

Napstablook goes over to his fridge as well and offers me a ghost sandwich.

I attempt to bite into it, but I phase right through it.

“oh…” Napstablook says, “nevermind…”

Then he offers that I join him in lying on the ground and feeling like garbage. I accept his offer, and we lie in the middle of his floor.

As we lie there, I begin to feel like I’m floating through space. I lie there for what feels like hours, and I must have dozed off at some point.

After I wake up and manage to get on my feet, Blooky says, “well, that was nice… thank you…”

“You’re welcome,” I say as I try to stop my stomach from churning. I then leave and interact with the savepoint again. A strange blip happens, and suddenly my stomach stops churning.

“What just happened?” I ask as I try to wrap my head around all that’s going on.

“* The Player loaded a save. Chara had done that a couple times. The side effects of lying on the floor and feeling like garbage seem to have disappeared completely, but…”

“But what?”

“* You should be experiencing a panic attack very soon.”

I swallow hard and just continue down the path. I stop to talk to a clam lady.

“I’m visiting Waterfall from the city,” she says. “Synchronicity…? My neighbor’s daughter looks about your age. Her name is ‘Suzy.’ I feel like you two should be friends. You have a neighbor’s blessing!!!”

Strange, I think as I continue.

The next room has a three-way fork. I take the path that leads down.

Gaster is there, sitting on his raft.

“Hea hea hea… Welcome back, little one. Would you like to ride on my raft? … Oh, hold on. You haven’t met up with Alphys. Go do that, and maybe then I’ll give you a ride. Hea hea hea.”

Gaster’s raft floats down the river immediately afterward.

And that’s when the panic attack starts.

My hearing gets muffled. It gets so bad that Player has to take over. I can’t even hear Asriel.

Player takes me back up and into the next room.

The feeling of water going up to my chest startles me enough to have some sense of what’s going on, and I watch as Player walks me right past the plaques that no doubt have a very interesting story on them.

The next room holds a maze full of light-up mushrooms and hidden paths.

A small cat-dog-creature wearing a shirt suddenly appears. Player gives me control, and I watch in confusion as the creature vibrates so hard its face levitates off its body.

I press ACT and select Check.

* TEMMIE – RATED TEM OUTTA TEM

* Loves to pet cute humans.

* But you’re allergic!

“Wait, I’m allergic?” I ask.

“OMG!!! hOOMAN too cuTE!! (dies)” Temmie says before a poorly drawn version of herself with super long legs. I get hit a bunch of times. 14 HP left.

“Hi, Temmie,” I say.

“hOI!!! i’m tEMMIE!!” Temmie responds.

Same attack as last time. Hit again. 8 HP.

I spare Temmie. I get nothing from it.

Player takes control again.

I reach a village full of Temmies. Oh my.

There’s a savepoint, and Player interacts with it.

* You feel… something.

There's two kinds of Level in the Trauma route.

Sorry, but I already have a name for her.

Alphys the Unrelenting!

But sense Asriel has Chara's role now....that should be Chara saying " My name is- "

And Asriel says his name first

I leave the room and continue forward. I walk past a crumbling statue and a basket of umbrellas. I walk in the rain and eventually meet MK napping by a ledge. I wake him up.

“Yo! Hey, dude. How’s it going?” He asks.

“It’s alright. I’m trying to get through here, though.”

“Oh man. Well, this ledge is too steep. Here, climb on my shoulders.”

I climb on MK’s shoulders and crawl onto the ledge.

“Yo, you go ahead. Don’t worry ‘bout me.”

Then MK runs off.

I interact with the savepoint.

* (The sound of muffled rain on the cavetop…)

* (It fills you with determination.)

* (But the senses of dread and panic seem to be creeping back.)

I walk onto a bridge.

Shadows engulf me, and the darkness seems to be beckoning death upon me.

Suddenly, ethereal swords shoot up from the ground! Alphys chases me from under the bridge and summons swords to shoot up and try and stab me. I get hit a few times, and eventually, I reach the end. Alphys sees me and stabs the bridge, making me fall into the water.

I get a flashback of someone else’s memory.

“It sounded like it came from over here… Oh! You’ve fallen down, haven’t you… Are you okay? Here, get up…

…

Chara, huh? That’s a nice name.”

I begin to wake up as the boy say,  “My name is”

And then I wake up in orange flowers. I begin walking forward again. Asriel is nowhere to be seen.

I reach a savepoint and interact with it.

* Partaking in worthless garbage fills you with determination.

That was a strange save message, I think.

I continue forward.

There’s a rusty bike. I rest my hand on it. Its horn wheezes a honk of despair.

I walk past a few other things as well. I come across the training dummy and tap it with my fist. I feel kinda bad. Then I continue on my way…

Until the dummy dives into the water and reappears in front of me!

“FOOL! You think you can hurt ME??? I am a ghost that lives inside a DUMMY. My cousin used to live inside a DUMMY, too. Until… YOU..! You… Shucks! You were really boring! They got annoyed and flew away like any self-respecting spectre. Well then. Well then! WELL THEN! Boring people are crumbs sticking to the face of this world. Human! I’ll wipe you away with the dainty handkerchief of vengeance!”

Then the battle begins, with some really jazzy music!

* Jerome blocks the way!

I strike Jerome with my knife.

“Foolish. Foolish! FOOLISH! Even if you attack my vessel, you’ll NEVER hurt me! I’m still incorporeal, you DUMMY!!!”

Then smaller dummies shoot cotton at my SOUL. I move it around, and then Jerome gets hit by the cotton!

“OWWWW, you DUMMIES!! Watch where you’re aiming your MAGIC attacks! … Hey! You! Forget I said anything about MAGIC!!!”

I shake my head playfully and start dancing to the music.

More cotton, and then Jerome begins swaying.

I spare the dummy and wait for the next attack.

More cotton. Not hit.

More cotton, hit thrice. 16/20 HP.

Spare again. Some dummies fly at my SOUL and then more cotton. I’m not paying attention to what he’s saying.

Spare.

The rest of the attacks are like the previous one.

Spare.

Spare.

“HEY GUYS!” Jerome shouts. “Dummies. Dummies! DUMMIES! Remember how I said NOT to shoot at me? Well… FAILURES! YOU’RE FIRED! YOU’RE ALL BEING REPLACED!!!”

Then Jerome starts laughing maniacally. Player takes over from here, and I don’t know what happens next.

When I regain control, I have 10 HP left. Jerome screams, “YOU’LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME… Forever. Forever! FOREVER!!!!” Then it starts raining acid. Then Jerome leaves, and Napstablook comes in and says, “… sorry, i interrupted you, didn’t i? as soon as i came over, your friend immediately left.”

“It’s okay, Blooky. Jerome was trying to kill me, anyway.”

“oh… okay. well… i’m gonna head home now… feel free to tag along if you want.”

Napstablook turns around and heads home, and I turn back to grab the astronaut sandwiches. Then, I run forward and interact with the savepoint.

The outside force, which Asriel calls the Player, helps me forward. In the next room, Papyrus is standing next to a telescope. I walk up to him. He sees my expression and says, “you okay, kid?”

I hug him tightly and whisper desperately. I’m so panicked that I don’t hear myself. Papyrus picks me up and tries to soothe me. He lets me use the telescope, but all I see is red. When I step back, Asriel can’t stop laughing at something on my face. Papyrus shows me my reflection, and I let out a small chuckle.

“c’mon, bud. let’s get a burger,” Papyrus says as he leads me into a small cave. Inside the cave is Burgman! “hey, burman,” Papyrus says as he walks up to him.

“Huh? Oh, hey Papyrus! Here for a burger?”

“yup. one for the kid, too.”

“Alright. How ‘bout a third one, just because? Each time you buy a burger, a punch card goes into that box. Three punch cards will get you a free burger.”

“eh, why not?”

Papyrus buys three burgers, grabs the punch cards, and cashes them in for a fourth burger. He hands me two of them and invites me to sit next to him. We sit there, eating our burgers in silence. I have a small smile on my face.

“mind telling me what’s up?” Papyrus asks.

I nod and lean against him for a bit. He shrugs and puts his arm around my shoulders.

After a moment, I sigh and stand up. “feeling better, frisk?” Papyrus asks as he stands up, too.

I nod and thank him for the burgers. He chuckles and pats my head. I continue forward again. Very ominous music follows me across land bridges, and I stumble across ballet shoes. I pocket them because my toy knife is all I need, and I’m not good at ballet, either.

Anyway, Sans calls me again.

“HELLO! THIS IS SANS!!! REMEMBER WHEN I ASKED YOU ABOUT CLOTHES? WELL, THE FRIEND WHO WANTED TO KNOW… HER OPINION OF YOU IS VERY… MURDERY.”

“Yeah, I figured as much.”

“OH. UM, WELL, WORRY NOT DEAR FRISK! SANS WOULD NEVER BETRAY YOU! YOU SAID YOU WERE NOT WEARING A DUSTY TUTU. SO OF COURSE I ACTUALLY TOLD HER… YOU WERE INDEED WEARING A DUSTY TUTU!”

“You what!?”

“YES. IT PAINED ME TO TELL SUCH A BOLDFACED LIE. BUT SINCE YOU AREN’T WEARING A DUSTY TUTU, SHE SURELY WON’T ATTACK YOU! NOW YOU ARE SAFE AND SOUND. WOWIE… THIS IS HARD. I JUST WANT TO BE EVERYBODY’S FRIEND!”

“Sans, I’m sorry, but I was lying.”

“W-WHAT!?!?”

“The Player was controlling me because of… something… that happened in the tall grass.”

“OH. WELL… UM… I HOPE YOU’RE FEELING BETTER.”

* Click…

I sigh and continue forward.

Then I run into a pair of Moldsmals. I flirt with both of them and spare them. I get 2 gold out of it.

In the next room, an octopus stops me.

“Hey… there… Noticed you were… Here… I’m Onionsan! Onionsan, y’hear!”

Asriel sighs, and Player skips the dialogue.

I get to the end of the hallway. I enter the next room and then am forced into battle.

* Shyren hides in the corner but somehow encounters you anyway.

I get scared and start humming. It’s a sad song, but Shyren follows my melody. I keep humming, and so does Shyren. Papyrus starts selling tickets made of toilet paper to the concert that Shyren and I have started. We keep humming. IT’S A STORM OF SOCKS!!!

Eventually, Shyren and I hum our farewells. She gives me 30 gold as thanks.

I go to the next room and see a pond with a long waterfall going into the abyss. There’s a sign, and it reads:

* When four Bridge Seeds align in the water, they will sprout.

I call Sans for some help with the puzzle.

“A BRIDGE GROWS IF YOU ALIGN FOUR BRIDGE SEEDS. BUT THAT’S SORT OF LIMITED IN USEFULNESS. WHY DON’T WE HAVE AIRPLANE SEEDS??? OR, PHONES THAT CAN TURN INTO JETPACKS???”

That was helpful, I think with an internal eye roll.

“* That was foreshadowing, y’know.”

“Huh?”

“* Sans mentioned phones that can turn into jetpacks. That’s foreshadowing.”

“Oh. Okay.”

I complete the puzzle and continue forward.

In the next room, Aaron flexes in. Everything goes black-and-white, and the buttons appear again.

I press ACT and select Check.

* AARON - ATK 24 DEF 12

* This seahorse has a lot of HP (Horsepower).

* All of his attacks are harder to dodge at the bottom of the box.

And then, my SOUL gets put in a box with a white border.

Aaron flirtatiously says something about checking.

On each side, alternating, strong arms flex upward. I dodge most of them, but get hit once. 17/20 HP left.

I flex.

Aaron flexes twice as hard.

ATTACK increases for both of us.

Aaron sweats bullets into the box.

I flex harder.

Aaron flexes thrice as hard.

ATTACK increases again.

Aaron sweats again, and I get hit. 14/20 HP left.

I flex.

Aaron flexes very hard…

He flexes himself out of the room!

* YOU WON!

* You earned 0 EXP and 30 gold.

I sigh and complete the next puzzle…

Except Asriel watches as I line up the seeds near the back of the room. After the seeds bloom, I walk into a secret room. There’s a bench, and I reach under it and pull out an abandoned quiche.

I return to Asriel and complete the puzzle.

“* Mind explaining what that was all about?” He asks.

I don’t respond and just walk until Sans calls me.

“HELLO! THIS IS SANS!!!”

Sans hears me ask a question, but I don’t hear myself ask the question.

“HOW DID I GET THIS NUMBER…? WE… EXCHANGED NUMBERS AT THE END OF OUR HANGOUT, REMEMBER? ARE YOU OKAY, FRISK?”

“Yes, I’m fine,” an outside force makes me say.

“SO, UH, ANYWAY, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING? I’M… ASKING FOR A FRIEND. SHE THOUGHT SHE SAW YOU WEARING A FROGGIT PONCHO AND A DUSTY TUTU. THEN AGAIN, THE ONLY THING WORTHY OF NOTE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE TUTU, BECAUSE A LOT OF KIDS IN WATERFALL WEAR PONCHOS STYLED AFTER ADORABLE MONSTERS. ANYWAY, IS THAT TRUE? ARE YOU WEARING A DUSTY TUTU?”

I’m about to say yes when the same outside force makes me say no.

“SO YOU AREN’T WEARING A DUSTY TUTU… GOT IT! YOU’RE MY FRIEND, SO I TRUST YOU 100-PERCENT. HAVE A NICE DAY!”

Then Sans hangs up.

I continue to the next room and walk around all the echo flowers. I want to know what they say, but something keeps telling me that I already know what they say.

Then, a Woshua shuffles up.

I Check the Woshua.

* WOSHUA – ATK 18 DEF 5

* This humble germophobe seeks to cleanse the whole world.

Woshua whistles as it cleans. White suds fly around the bullet board, as this outside force tells me it’s called.

I ask Woshua to clean me.

The white suds again, and this time green ones fly out. I get hit by more white ones, but that’s okay. Woshua’s name is pink, and I spare it. I get 25 gold out of it.

I continue down the hall and touch the wall. A doorway opens up, and I walk through. I black out, but I still can hear Asriel. He’s asking me why I seem like I know exactly what to do.

I wake back up to find myself running from laser blasts. I run and hide in tall grass again. Alphys comes up, and my heart begins speeding. I get flashbacks, and suddenly, I’m in the middle of a panic attack. Alphys walks up to me and reaches into the grass… and pulls out MK. She sets MK back down and retreats.

I leave the grass and see MK right next to me. He says something, but I don’t hear him. I continue forward after he runs off.

I interact with the savepoint, and Asriel reads the save message to me.

“welp, that was a long break,” Papyrus says as he stands up. “i can’t believe i let ya pull me away from work for that long.”

“What!? Why are you pinning the blame on me!?”

“i was just kidding, dude. chillax. anyway, i’m flat broke. can you foot the bill? it’s just 10000G.”

My mouth hangs open in disbelief, and Papyrus chuckles and says, “just pulling your leg. metta, put it on my tab.” He walks to the entrance and pauses, then turns back to me and says, “by the way, i was going to say something, but i forgot.”

Then he leaves. Mettablook sighs and says, “That man is gonna get arrested for evading debt one of these days. Well, kid, you’d better get going.”

I smile and wave goodbye. Asriel bows as a farewell.

I return to the savepoint and interact with it again.

* The sound of rushing water fills you with determination.

* However, the ominous message Papyrus gave you still worries you.

* Perhaps it’s best if you don’t think about it too much.

I sigh and continue forward. I start sweating because of how hot and humid Waterfall is. Eventually, I locate a box and rush over to it.

“* Heh. If you want privacy, try heading to the room behind the waterfall.”

“Thanks for the suggestion, Asriel,” I say as I grab the proper clothes for the marsh and head for the waterfall to look for the secret room.

A few minutes later, I come out wearing a froggit poncho and a dusty tutu.

“* Very stylish,” Asriel chuckles.

“Shut up. The tutu is armor, and the poncho is to keep me relatively dry,” I scowl.

“* I wasn’t trying to mock you,” Asriel responds defensively.

I step into the next room and see tall grass in front of me. I hear heavy footsteps above me and rush into the tall grass.

I look up and see a tall lizard in knight’s armor. Sans approaches the lizard.

“H… HI, ALPHYS! I’M HERE WITH MY DAILY REPORT… UH… REGARDING THAT HUMAN I CALLED YOU ABOUT EARLIER…”

Alphys turns to Sans.

“… HUH? DID I FIGHT THEM? Y- YES! OF COURSE I DID! I FOUGHT THEM VALIANTLY!”

Alphys turns away again.

“… WHAT? DID I CAPTURE THEM? W- W- WELL… NO. I TRIED VERY HARD, ALPHYS, BUT IN THE END… I FAILED.”

Alphys turns to Sans again.

“… W- WHAT? YOU’RE GOING TO TAKE THE HUMAN’S SOUL YOURSELF…”

Sans begins approaching Alphys.

“BUT ALPHYS, YOU DON’T H- HAVE TO DESTROY THEM! YOU SEE… YOU SEE…”

Alphys turns to Sans, and he backs up.

“… … I UNDERSTAND. I’LL HELP YOU IN ANY WAY I CAN.”

Sans walks away. I take one step forward, and Alphys whips her head toward me and charges a hand cannon. After not seeing anything, she steps back into the shadows.

I leave the tall grass, and so does MK.

“Yo…” MK says, “did you see the way she was staring at you…? That… … was AWESOME! I’m SOOOO jealous! What’d you do to get her attention…? Ha ha. C’mon! Let’s go watch her beat up some bad guys!”

Then he runs forward, trips, stands up, and continues running.

I interact with the savepoint.

I have to say there's a Papyrus out there with the most uncontrollable special attacks out there
