Legit forgot how hot Riario and Leo were! Perfect candidates for Enemies (season 1) to Friends (season 2 - "It's felt surprisingly civilised to be your ally") to Lovers (season 3, well almost).
I'm convinced Riario was so happy being Da Vinci's friend in season 2 he hopped skipped & jumped to the lovers stage on his own and spent season 3 waiting for Leo to catch up.

@uncle-zo that ask about a cat made me want to share this. My Nico, named for the squad’s littlest darling, who died last Thursday at an average age for a mouse. He wasn’t as badass as your Nico but he was much loved. And I wanted a guinea pig and planned to call it Leo, but just don’t have the indoor room, so first it was a hamster and then Nico. And, for my birthday just under a year a go, this gift chosen by my nephew, and nicknamed Leo. Because it’s now so sad walking past the space where Nico lived, I’ve brought outdoor!Leo indoors for a bit. He’s not as cuddly as a real guinea pig, being made of some sort of polyresin, but he doesn’t eat much or need a big cage/pod to live in ;)
I am so sorry for the loss of Nico. He looks like a delightfully sweet pet and it shows that you loved him a lot. I bet he had the best life a little mouse could have with you!
Can we please trade Leo’s? Mine is very needy, eats a lot and just won’t stop making this godawful noise all the time. Also he sometimes causes explosions :p

So far, the kitty is still, grumpy, quiet/barely meows (although when he does, it's very loud) but would randomly snuggle up against me when I'm doing something (reading, watching TV). Should I call this kitten Girolamo? How would the squad, and of course, Count Riario respond to this idea and situation? Hugs from the other side of the world, Gia.

Riario insists however that he is not cute and definitely not grumpy. His own words are: he is a delightful person filled with sunshine and love, we just bring out the worst in him. Like that’s even possible, considering the lovely people we are! So please, do call your sweet kitten Girolamo, share cute pictures of him with us and if anyone wants to write one of your wonderful stories where Riario turns into a kitten by witchcraft (because honestly, he might deserve it a little bit) then go ahead and share it with us as well. I swear we won’t tease our lovely Count friend…. at least not that much… maybe…. >:)

Ha, we certainly would have done things A LOT differently if there’d been a fan-written Season 4! Starting with Leo kidnapping Riario away from the Vatican and having his way with him getting him into his right mind again. :p Zo was certainly welcome to come along for the ride. Then they could get into all kinds of wonderful trouble together in bed. >:D
