The 48th Traditional Kaga-Yuzen Craft Exhibition Gold Prize: Visiting Kimono "Coriander Arabesque" by Daisuke Yoshimoto "I incorporated coriander into Western-style patterns to evoke an exotic atmosphere."

This piece depicts the scenery of seawater being scattered during the traditional Agehama salt-making process in Suzu. Capturing the sparkling spray dancing in the wind, the breeze brushing against the cheeks, and the scent of the sandy beach, I infused my own sensory experiences into a flowing, modern yet classic silhouette.

This piece features a mimosa motif. The flowers sway in the breeze, bending but never breaking as they bloom. I created this work with a heartfelt sense of daily gratitude, as expressed in the symbolic meaning of the flower.
