âThe latter, unfortunately. I suppose I
should be honored that weâre considered
part of his little âwolf packâ he has.â
So much for being a âlone wolf.â Lang was just
as stubborn as miles when it came to accepting
company or friends. Neither was particularly
healthy, but Edgeworth didnât have much room
to judge given his own circumstances. As for
         mentioning travelâŚ
A huffing chuckle left him when she went on
about how busy her flight plans were. She
always had the more busy schedule between
the two of them, mainly because the nature of
her work required it, while Miles was more or
less grounded unless there was an urgent need
         of his talents.
âMost would envy you. But by the sound
of your voice, I would almost assume you
had your bags lost at some point.â
It happened to him the first time around, but
he doubted such a fate would happen to her
little sisterâs luggage. God should bless the
soul that would have to deal with that.
ââAh, yes. Ms. Andrews stopped by to
see if you were in. I told her you were
away for the time being. Then thereâs
some files I need to hand over to youâŚâ
Which he reached over to grab and then
         gave.
âAnd Prosecutor Gavinâs been dying to
     meet you. That is allââ
Suddenly he sounded like her secretary.
         He paused, huffing to himself.
"Thank you very much; I'll handle those."
With utmost honesty, the elder sister would whip theÂ
foolish fools in the airport should such a mishap happen
to her. At any rate, she received the documents andÂ
made a mental note of the people who needed to meetÂ
her, then she gave a small, thin smile towards her sibling.
Then as if she had remembered something, FranziskaÂ
took the file that she carried with her, then placed it on
the table and patted it with a gloved hand forÂ
extra measure.
"You'd want to see these-- these cases are
far more interesting than the drivel that you're
forced to solve right now. Best to look these throughÂ
and get back to me as soon as possible; I'll arrangeÂ
your flight when you are convenient."
