I don’t share work in progress pictures often but Braska asked me to because she said she looks good in this one. I am always going to be my greatest work in progress. During the month of “Love” I am sticking with that theme as I focus on a painting about self love. This one will be titled “When Nobody Else Would Love Me (I Had To Learn To Love Myself).” I’m really getting back to fundamentals and learning to love the process of painting again. I’m slowing things down and really investing myself with some glazing techniques that require a lot of patience and necessitate that I step away periodically to evaluate. That time allows me to come back with a clear mind and really build in layers and a strong foundation. That’s what this painting and self love are all about.

A great way to end my “Art of the Aerialist” series is with this amazing work by Marc DeBauch. Not only is the work hot as hell but it also brilliantly mimics the old circus posters of yesteryear.
