"Floating In The Forever Of Evermore" is from a small collection of infinity themed pieces I did. There are some great textures and metallic/iridescent effects to this piece. As an artist that likes detail and intricacy, letting go can be one of the greatest challenges. I loved studying the masters of calligraphy and Asian scroll painting in art school. I have great respect for their ability to capture a story in minimal brushstrokes. Sometimes less can be more 💙

This painting just found a forever home. This is "You Can't Push Yourself Forward While You're Holding Yourself Back." My work dives head first into self-reflection and mental health. This is from a small collection of infinity pieces I did. I find the minimalistic work extremely challenging, because letting go is one of the hardest things for me. How about you 🖤

I'm an artist with a traumatic brain injury and my new series is called "TBI (T.he B.oy I.nside)." This is only the second painting from the collection, "Fever Dreams And The Mind Maze." "Van Gogh's Sunflower Paradise." This fluid piece is a little homage to Van Gogh, using his signature palette. This painting is from my "Open Wounds" collection. Sometimes you need to tear yourself open and expose your wounds so they can breathe and heal 🌻💙

A small collection of my "Portals To A Better Place." I have some much larger works from this series available too. I started focusing on these portals after a traumatic brain injury. Sometimes you may feel surrounded by darkness, but if you continue to peel back the layers (as I physically did creating these worlds), there is light on the other side...I promise you ❤️

Before I dove fully into the realm of abstraction and the boundaries of the mind, I was classically trained and learned the key fundamentals of art. This 24" x 46" is part of a triptych I did at around the age of 21, when I was a senior at art school. The triptych measured nearly 12' overall, and all the hard-edge shapes were careful masking and brushwork. The dog was painted with a tiny round, each bit of fur feathered in delicately. During my studies, I earned a couple scholarships and awards, including 1st place in the student show one year, 3rd another. I was also named the scholar of distinction for the disciple of painting 🎨

This series was about so much more than a dog. The collection was called "The Lost Shepherd," and it explored the idea of the shepherd losing their way, of being trapped in an isolated void 💙
