All living beings in this world come to an end eventually. However some insistent on sticking around somehow. Ghosts such as Boos and Peepas and skeletons such as Dry Bones ike to lurk around abandoned buildings and castles, clinging to some long-past past life.

Warp Pipes are the go-to method of transportation in the Kingdoms. They can take you anywhere in a flash- even to other worlds! However the carnivorous Piranha Plants have a bad habit of infesting them... Better bring a Fire Flower just in case.

Everyone always keeps  at least one Power Up with them. These are typically kept in bags or boxes or holsters appropriate for the Power-Up in  question, boxes called ? Blocks being the most common. Care must be taken not to accidentally activate them.

The great adventurer Mario has visited many places. But there are some depths in the earth and reaches of space he has never reached. But they are merely the settings of future adventures.

The sky typically looks like a  normal Earth sky. However there are places where it takes on unusual colors and patterns, or it's stuck at a specific time of day. And out in space, a teeming amount of planets and platetoids exist with their own gravity.

Construction jobs are the most common jobs in The Mushroom Kingdom. The Toads work together to construct "courses" of various obstacles to deter invaders. Some of these are sure to make a plumber's head spin.

Power-Ups tend to be the weapons of choice. Fire and Ice Flowers in particular are often weaponized. Notably, the construct species known as Bob-ombs are LIVING weapons.

The great Mushroom Koopa War has raged off and on for hundreds of years. Only the Kong Kremling Klash rivals it in scope. More traditional weapons are sometimes used, but the primary weapons in these wars are Power Ups such as Mushrooms and Flowers.

People in this world trend toward rather simpler clothing. The same type of clothing is often very popular on a cultural level. This isn't universal, however, and many actively break norms.

The mystical 1-Up mushroom is the main source of medicine in this world. Eating one will revitalize anyone in an instant. Efforts are being taken to mass produce them, though they are inconsistent in terms of results.

Though it's inconsistent who has them, a good amount of beings in this world have supernatural powers. One of the most prominent are the Magikoopas, a sorcerous subspecies of Koopa. Led by their leader Kamek, they are an important part of the Koopa Kingdom's forces.

Most technology is around an Earth 2020s level, as of my visit. There is one Professor E. Gadd I met who has made many technological advancements with his inventions. He remains rather obscure, however, except in the realm of paranormal studies.
