Don’t complain in front of your kids. Like you can complain about racists or people being rude to teach your kids not to be like that, but don’t complain about your weight or how much you hate doing math or daffodils or whatever. If you complain about your weight in front of your kids, they will absolutely end up with self image issues as they get older. If you complain about how much you hate math they’ll think math is bad and they won’t learn to love it even if they should be amazing at it. I really hate daffodils but I’ll never complain about that in front of my kids because those could be their favorite flower and that’ll tell them that their interests are bad.
