Alfred

He's not used to be pet named. At all. The only cute little names he has heard were from his mother when he was a little boy and an affectionet "daddy" from his children. His wife is too pious to call him anything but "my love" or "dearest". But he will get used to it with time. Or maybe he wont. It depends on how hard you try. 2 / 10

God, he's embarresed every time you pet name him. But it's not an embarrasing caused by the anger or frustration, he's just, pretty much as Alfred, is not used to it. At the beggining of your relationishps Aldhelm would be blushing and muttering every time you call him a pet name *and you wouldn't help yourself keeping calling him that 'cause he's so damn adorable when blushing* 4 / 10

Uthred

With this man, his moody arse is the key to his reaction to your pet names for him. If he's not in the best mood, he'll be annoyed with it, maybe even roar at you and roll his eyes, but if he's in the good mood, he'd be dying to hear you call him a fancy name. He'd touch your forehead with his and giggle 5 / 10

Leofric

He'd be faking it, be acting a grumpy and annoyed man at first, but in fact he'd be feeling the most warmest when you'll call him by some sweet tiny names, but he'll never admit to you that he likes it (well, he thought at the beginning, but you're not a dane he let you win). He'd try to keep his face firm when you call him that in public, cause Leofric has a reputation, but when alone with you or around his closest friends, he shows his adoration towards you when you pet call him 6 / 10

Osferth

Osferth is a pure soul, he's blushing every time you call him by some cute names, but he never fails to show you how much these names mean to him. He also give you pet names, too, watching your cheeks become colourful and a tiny smile stretching on your face. You are the best pet named couple in Wessex, hands down.

Will go under a pet name only for you, cause you like it so much. He's not against it, he'd even try and help you to come up with some cute but absolutely absured ones. The man just loves to be charished by you. He also would be fine with going by those names in public, he likes to see all the ladies' sad faces when they realize he's taken 8 / 10

Sihtric

He would respond ONLY if you pet call him. Who is Sihtric anyway? Don't know him. Would go by ANY names you'd give to him, a "pup"? Cute, he's into it. "Lionheart"? Absolutelly yes badass but still cute, he loves that so much. If he heard “Sihtric” from you he'd get terrified and think he'd messed up 100 / 10
