❝ right. ❞ she narrowed her eyes at the other , completely doubting whatever had come out of his mouth. she is sure that people would have told her differently if she were to go around and ask what the man did before putting his bet down. it didn’t matter , though. mostly because asena already won and he was the one losing money at the end of the night. with that joyfulness , she laughed at the wink to her way. ❝ oh ? you are trying to butter me up with a treat ? because if that is so , you are on the right path. ❞ she said , easily getting back on her motorcycle and looking back at him. ❝ i’ll give you the ride to where you will be treating me. come on. ❞
if ehren is anything , he’s a people person , a social butterfly : always flocks to those that peak his interest , asena being one of them now. after all , who was he to resist a beautiful woman ? a beautiful woman with a motorcycle , for that matter. he’d be foolish not to take the opportunity to spend some time with her , even if it’s just for the night. “ yeah ? don’t have to tell me twice , ” said with a cheeky grin , following suit as he gets onto the back of her motorcycle , confidently placing arms around her waist --- he’d have to hold onto something , after all. who would’ve thought a spontaneous decision to attend the races would lead to this ? though he’s certainly not complaining , eager to hear her story over drinks and the like. “ i’m not from around here , so take me to your favorite spot , and i’ve got it covered from there. ”
