Written in a soulmate AU, connected to a soulmate AU series, written for AU enthusiasts, not written for people who hate AUs and cannon canon-divergence (whoops), also not written for Tolkien diehards, Duck did not attend university for sake of studying Tolkienology.

Series will feature some wonderful characters, including but not limited to: Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins, Thranduil Elvenking, Celeborn, Galadriel, Glorfindel, Erestor, several OCs when necessary, a wayward cat, a horse named Kway, some random Man who has a thing for redheads, various 'dead'/dead characters, Celebrían As a Memory, and honorable mentions of other characters for the sake of invoking trauma and trauma processing.

Slow-burn, accompanied by (mostly) tasteful smut (again, in Duck's opinion), also accompanied by (somewhat) tasteful angst, and (definitely) tasteful portrayals of various mental illnesses. Please note that all mental health disorders affect people differently, even under the same technical diagnosis. Just because it doesn't match your experience doesn't mean it isn't being portrayed 'correctly.' Duck does his best to extensively research the issues he portrays, even when he personally has experience with these mental health disorders.

Duck is hoping to write 400k (more) of this project series. Duck has high hopes. Duck is insane ambitious enough to believe he can achieve this goal.
