Hi APAMSA Western Regional Conference Attendees, Two(ish) more days left until the conference! We hope you all are as excited as we are. A couple of logistical details to be mindful of as the conference approaches. 1) The Friday night social will be held at Chorus karaoke from 6:30PM – 10:30PM. The address is 4428 Convoy St #290, San Diego, CA 92111. Please arrange your own rides; if you have trouble finding a ride, please contact us. 2) If you have not found housing accommodations yet, please contact us as soon as possible. 3) Unfortunately, it looks like Saturday will be one of the very few days in which it actually rains in San Diego. Come prepared, and don’t be alarmed if the local San Diegans forget how to drive. 4) Post-conference banquet will be at Buca di Beppo. The address is 10749 Westview Parkway, San Diego, CA 92126 5) We will be arranging banquet carpools to and back from the UCSD conference. Amidst the new Affordable Care Act, President Obama and his administration are working hard to enroll as many Americans as possible in a health care program. Little did they know the many cultural differences and language barriers they will face, especially for Asian Americans.
