I was looking up facts about Cormorants to find a title for this and found out about the liver bird a mythological creature from liverpool that is literally just a cormorant which I find kinda funny

She hesitated, worrying the coarse material between her fingers. “Things got pretty bad after that,” she muttered. “I know it’s silly, but I try to keep - her - comfortable. We don’t know if she can still hear us, or see us, or if she’s even still in here, but I like to think she is. I talk to her when I can, I leave music on when I’m out of the house. I tried to convince my parents to bring her with us when we went to Disneyland, but they didn’t - didn’t really take that well.”

Since it's been six(?) months since I fell for Del Toro's Frankenstein and my love has yet to waver, so I decided I needed a Frankenthemed desktop background. I have three monitors that I use in very specific ways, which is why the second picture has two blank windows--I have folders and miscellaneous crap to go there. Similarly, I keep icons to the far right of my horizontal monitor, which is why the fun stuff is all regulated to the left

Ha, it's so silly and I love all the additions people made in the comments and reblogs to pieces! (This one, if anyone reading this is curious. People are so freaking funny here). If I didn't have to work a day job and got full-time funding, I would absolutely love to make this into a graphic novel and then an animated pilot. The potential is endless.

I think it could work both ways: set in the late 18th century or set in modern day--or a hybrid of the two where it's 1818 but there are decidedly anachronistic college frat boy things just for the bit.

Regardless, the Creature has to be firmly a late 18th century man. I need the dichotomy of language. I need these college boys latching onto their giant Wanderer Above A Sea of Fog buddy who says things like, "Thou canst know the agony that splits my head in two."

And one of his buddies in the dorm goes, "Dude, what's up?"

And the Creature grimaces and puts in head in his hands and pops a Tylenol and says, "Yon kegger, David."

All the others guffaw and David slaps the Creature on his back.

"Fuckin' A, man, we told you to take it easy last night!"

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

“Oh, yes, we can,” he growls, before offering the book and pen to him. “Do you want to write it?”

But Aziraphale is still shaking his head.

“No, no, I - of course, we can, apparently,” he stutters. “But what I mean is - Crowley, we can’t summon Her without a plan, first!”

OR: Aziraphale thinks ahead, Crowley has feelings, & Fell the Marvelous gives an encore performance…that just might save the world.
