"That's a price I'm willing to pay." Chandler shrugged. He raised his glass to the other man's, then took a drink. Pretty good, but rum and coke was hard to fuck up in general.
As the stranger explained his predicament, Chandler could kind of understand. He hadn't been out of the dating game nearly as long, at only three and a half years, but he had his own reasons for not dating around. "Well hey, there's two silver linings. You know not to waste your time with them again. And you get to hang out with me instead."
"I'll take that, then." Tyler agreed, taking another sip of his drink. The alcohol was refreshingly sharp, burning it's way down his throat, and it was exactly what he needed to forget tonight ever happened.
"That's fair, at least they showed their true face before things got any further past the first date." That, he could agree on, at least. Still, he felt like he could at least allow himself a moment or two to wallow around. "I'd agree on the second point, but that requires at least knowing your name - I'm Tyler."
