Darcy stood there, what was it about seeing Pan that made her feel all kinds of emotions inside. She rolled her eyes at his response before looking at them, "Carnival cat? What even is that name?" She laughed as she took a spoonful of her ice cream for a moment, "And why should I have told you that exactly? Is there a reason I needed to inform you of my attendance to a carnival?" She asked being slightly sassy at him.

Chess made sure to hold the rest of her flowers out of the way so they wouldn't get crushed in the hug. After pulling away, she nodded to her remaining flowers. "Well I was thinking of walking around and giving these out to people, if you wanted to join me?"

Darcy smiled over at her friend for a brief moment as she ran a hand though her hair for a moment, she nodded, "I would love to keep you company whilst you give these out. Let's go. Want to get a coffee on our way through?"

"No classes today?" JJ asked as he came to a stop in front of the bench where Darcy had been sitting. Mia tried to wiggle out of his arms, causing him to set her down on the ground. The toddler giggled and ran up to Darcy, holding her arms open for a hug. "We're doing alright. We were just out for a walk, and Mia spotted you from across the park. She made a run for it," he replied, laughing softly. "How are you going? I feel like I haven't seen you since the performance at Spring Fling. Great job, by the way. I had to get Mia home, so I couldn't find you afterwards."

Darcy smiled over at JJ and his daughter before shaking her head for a moment, "No Classes today, just doing some choreography for classes today, but needed a breather so came here." She laughed a little, "Well aren't I lucky that she spotted me." She smiled as she ruffled Mia's hair a little before looking over at the guy for a moment, "Yeah things are all good to be honest. Thank you, it's been a while since I performed so it was nice to get back on the stage in front of an audience. I was a ball of nerves before going on but it was worth it." She smiled looking over at the guy for a moment.

Dominic had spent a bit of time walking back and forth through the games and the stalls, debating whether he was in the mood for playing any and seeing if it could win anything for the kids. "I don't know about good," he mused when Drcy appeared by his side. "Cat would try and tell you I'm a ninja, but I'm pretty sure she's wrong on that one." He chuckled softly, casting a glance back over her shoulder. "She's around here somewhere, no doubt picking out what she wants me to try and win for her next."

Darcy smiled over at her friend for a moment before laughing a little, "Well if that girl says you are a ninja I think I am going to have to believe her." She smiled looking over at him for a moment before laughing a little, "What games have you guys played so far? And how many toys is she walking out with so far?" She laughed a little knowing if she had a kid she would do anything for them to win the toys to keep them happy.

Darcy had been at the carnival for a few hours and she was enjoying it, she could have really done with some caffiene at that point but she was trying to hold on. As she was standing there looking around at what was going on before she heard her name so she turned around for a moment, "That's me." She smiled looking over at the girl for a moment, before she quickly looked and then checked her pockets, "Oh my gosh, yes I did. I can't believe I was that careless and dropped it." She smiled looking at the girl, "Thank you. Can I repay you by paying for a game for the both of us?"

Xander did appreciate what Darcy said, but still shook his head in response a moment later. "Thanks, but I don't know how true that is," he answered her. As she explained what had been going on with her, he took it all in without question ( unusual for him, but he tried his best ). "Being rejected is a horrible thing," he responded. "I can relate to that. I've had it a lot in my life, too."

Darcy smiled looking over at him and shrugged a little, "Whatever you say." She smiled winking at him for a moment before shaking her head for a moment. She nodded, "It is a horrible thing. I knew what I was signing up for but constant rejection with no yes's was heartbreaking." She sighed a little before looking at him, "I am sorry you have had it a lot in life, it sucks."

Darcy was sitting at the park taking a break from her choreography she was planning so she had her phone out and was texting her friends from the city, to either try and plan a trip out there or for them to come visit her as she missed her friends. As she sat there scrolling through her phone and responding to messages, she looked over at the guy who arrived at her side and smiled for a brief moment, "Hey JJ. Hey Mia. How are you both today? Enjoying this weather and having fun in the park?" She asked as she put her phone away in her pocket.
