The docks smelled of tar and brine, gulls wheeling overhead, the wreckage of Dressrosaโs long night still clinging to the streets behind you. You sat on a crate with your arms wrapped around yourself, watching the tide slap against the piers. Bepo stood nearby like a sentry, his fur catching the gold wash of late sunlight, ears flicking at every sound.
He noticed your gaze first. โYou keep staring at me,โ he said without offense.
You startled, then exhaled a shaky laugh. โI know. Iโm sorry. I think Iโm still in shock.โ
Amber eyes blinked down at you. โBecause I am a Mink?โ
Heat Waves
Chapter One
The scorching hot spring winds that licked Alabasta that April had cooled as the sun sank below the horizon. Alubarnaโs white buildings roared with the hustle and bustle of the capital cityโs nightlife and couples from all over the Grand Line roamed the shops in the center of Town Square. Rows of people shuffled in and out of food stalls and entertained themselves with idle chit-chat and bottles of expensive water, which was a hot commodity out in the middle of the desert. There was a drought sweeping through the kingdom, and Epona moaned as the ice cold liquid her husband paid too much for passed her parched lips.
It was rough being nine months pregnant in the blistering heat. Even as the air around her lost its edge she fidgeted uncomfortably in her dehydrated skin. Her feet were swollen but she didnโt complain as her husband turned to face her with several bags of groceries in his arms. His smirk was as wide as he was tall, and he towered over his petite love to press a tender kiss to her sweaty brow. โShall we?โ
Donquixote Epona had moved from her fatherโs station at Marineford just a few months prior, eager to be away from the constant threat of battle once she discovered the tiny life growing deep inside her womb. Alubarna had been her husbandโs idea. The Kingdom of Alabasta was located about as far away from the New World as they could get while still residing within the Grand Line. But more importantly, the countryโs governing body had rejected moving its royal family to Mary Geoise, a move that made Rosinante feel safe from his abhorrent roots.
The couple walked in a happy silence about a mile from the heart of town. Their house was small, but quaint, and Rosinante grinned again as they walked through their front door and sat the paper grocery bags down on their kitchen island. Like it or not he was still a Marine, and he didnโt get to bask in domesticity near as much as he would like. That night they were set to make tacos, and he reached for the stovetop when a soft hand slapped him away from the dusty old appliance.
โYouโll burn yourself,โ Epona scolded as she waved a wooden spoon at him. โAnd me, and somehow the baby.โ She added with a small chuckle. Her husband insisted his clumsiness was an act, something he fabricated to make her smile. That was bullshit, and they both knew it, too. His brown eyes lit with laughter and he rolled his bottom lip into a pout. He hated making his pregnant wife do all the work.
Fleet Admiral Sengokuโs daughter was not to be argued with, that was an order, and Rosinante dutifully turned to wash their vegetables at the sink instead. He hummed a silly tune as he worked, smitten by Eponaโs chime-like laughter. He had loved her since he was eight years old and it was hard for him to believe this moment in time was anything more than a wishful dream.
Rosinante turned his head to double check, as he often did, that his wife of four years was still tangible and not some beautiful apparition or figment of his lonely imagination. She stood on her tip toes, reaching for plates in the cabinet nearest the sink. One hand was wrapped tenderly beneath her large belly and he opened his mouth to chastise her for doing too much.
โEponaโโ
The plates clattered from her trembling hands to the checkered tile beneath their feet with a deafening roar. A string of expletives fell from her rosebud lips, expression twisted with pain as she backed herself away from the sea of glass that now swam between them. โO-Owโฆโ
โAre you hurt? Did you cut yourself?โ
Rosinanteโs voice was so gentle as he spoke, his blonde eyebrows knit together into a loving expression. It was so hard to believe that a man like him was related to the captain of the Donquixote Pirates. Epona shook her head, still in awe at her own luck. There wasnโt a kinder man in all the Navy, and somehow he was hers. โIโm fine. The baby kicked me a little hard, thatโs all.โ
A low grunt passed Eponaโs lips and she pressed a hand to her aching lower back. She had been mostly fine on the walk home, but now the pressure that settled around her spine was creeping around her swollen middle.
Rosinante grabbed for a broom and sighed as the woman he married snatched it from his hands. The last thing she needed was for his gangly body to trip into a thousand tiny razors. โI love you,โ She murmured with a tiny smile, guilt ridden by the helplessness she found whittled into her husbandโs expression. โI promise Iโll sit still just as soon as Iโโ
A gasp rattled Eponaโs slender throat and she cried out as an uncomfortable popping sensation tore through her pelvis. Her knuckles turned white as she gripped the broom handle and a gush of warm water erupted from between her legs. Brown orbs widened and welled with love as Rosinante closed the distance between them and tangled his fingers in her bubblegum tresses. She was going into laborโฆwith his child. His lips crushed against the plush of her own before he buried his nose into the crook of her neck. The life he had always dreamed of was right at his fingertips, and it was all because of her. It always had been.
It didnโt feel like fourteen years had passed. The sterile white walls inside Marinefordโs HQ were a stark contrast to the warmth of the home they had built together. Nervous and scraped-up knees swung back and forth beneath the lunch table as children of varying ages picked at the sparse meal being served in the cafeteria. Rosinanteโs wounds still smarted, unhealed from the beating he had taken just days before. The trauma burned worse than the lashings he had taken, strung up like Christmas lights alongside his father and brother and tortured over the cushy lives theyโd all but forsaken.
He had never asked to be a Celestial Dragon, yet, the eight-year-old hadnโt had his sights on becoming a Marine either. Life just sort of happened to Donquixote Rosinante. He had been helpless to save his ailing mother from the spread of disease. He had wept in agony as hatred tore into his soft skin and brutalized his family. He was even there, a silent heap of snot and tears, as Doflamingo gunned their father down in the middle of a darkened alley. He was Sengokuโs object of pity, and the worldโs punching bag.
The child grimaced, his chubby cheeks full of meatloaf and cartoned milk. His sticky fingers prodded absently at the bandage across his nose and his mind was lost in a sea of self-loathing when a strong hand suddenly clamped down on his shoulder. Rosinante nearly choked, swiping his long hair from his eyes as the Fleet Admiral himself materialized behind him. โSee? I told you there were other kids your age,โ He said as a smug grin shot wrinkles to the corners of his eyes. โIntroduce yourself, pretend you have manners.โ
A small sigh was offered in response and Rosinanteโs eyebrows rose when a little girl stepped around the hulking Admiral and took the seat directly in front of him. Delicate pink hair came to tense shoulders and eyes as dark as coal fluttered up to meet his for the very first time. โIโm umโฆmy name is Epona.โ Her voice was gentle and had a chime-like melody that made the boy swallow. โSengoku is my father. Itโs nice to meet you.โ
Fleet Admiral Sengoku had a daughter? He could only assume the girl was a splitting image of her mother. Her hair was pin straight and her face was bright and clear, like a summerโs morning. Heat rose to Rosinanteโs cheeks and his eyes darted to the unimpressive food sat between them. โDonquixote.โ He murmured, not quite able to meet her intense gaze. โDonquixote Rosinante.โ
The Marine blinked, chasing the memory from his mind as a guttural moan floated from his wifeโs lips. Epona was bent over the island, tugging on fistfuls of her soaked dress as she held it up and over her waist. The once soft skin of that frightened young boy was now scarred and calloused and it felt rough against his partnerโs back as he pressed into it hard. The pressure wrestled with the now back-to-back contractions and Epona leaned into his touch as her body fought the urge to push.
They didnโt know what they were doing, truth be told, and anxiety bloomed deep inside Rosinanteโs stomach. Any normal couple would have headed for a hospital. Yet, even as far away from the New World as he had ever been, he was too frightened of his brother to bring a newborn Donquixote publically into the fold.
Rosinante hadnโt seen hide nor hare of Doflamingo since the day their father died. He didnโt need to. Spending the first eight years of his life in the shadow of something that evil was enough. This baby could never be within spitting distance of their uncle, he wouldnโt allow it. โYouโll be safe,โ He whispered to his unborn child. โIf itโs the last thing I ever do, youโll both be safe.โ
Epona smiled through the pain and bit back the tears that threatened to spill down her cheeks. He loved so deeply it cut her heart into ribbons. They had loved one another from the moment their eyes met, locked together with childlike wonder and innocence. It was a love that was pure and tender and had never once bent to the cruelties of the world it bloomed in. She had known no finer joy than telling her sweet love, her Rosi, that he was going to be a father. โItโs really happening,โ She groaned, though her tearful smile never once faltered. โOur baby is c-coming.โ
There was more to her words than even she had initially intended and she cried out as her nails dug deep into the skin of her thighs. โOoh, RosiโฆR-Rosi I canโtโโ Her sentence fractured and twisted into a scream as she lost her battle against gravity. She bore down hard, sitting her sex into her husbandโs outstretched hands. Blood and amniotic fluid smeared across his flesh but he didnโt budge an inch as a sliver of blonde hair slowly parted Eponaโs folds.
Their baby was beginning to crown. Fear twisted Rosinante into a pretzel as his fingers gently grazed the head of his newborn for the very first time. He didnโt deserve this. What would he ever do if something happened to this perfect little life they had created together? He wasnโt given much time to think. Another hard push brought the head several inches forward and he swallowed hard as his fingertips caressed the angel soft tufts of his childโs hair.
โYouโre doing so good,โ Rosinante crooned to his laboring wife, fingers still frozen on the crest of their babyโs head. โI can almost see their face.โ Frightened as he was, the adoration that tinted his voice mended every broken ache Epona had ever known. He was pure affection embodied, her guardian angel made real. It made the agony of childbirth worth it, to know the father of her child loved them more than God loved creation.
Epona turned her face toward the heavens and chanted her husbandโs name like it might reach the Sky Islands. Her body trembled, struggling against every tight contraction. She could feel her body opening up like a flower blooms in spring and she pushed with every ounce of strength she could muster. The babyโs head emerged into Rosinanteโs waiting hands and the tears finally rolled down her round cheeks as she felt him press a tender kiss to their fuzzy little head.
โI love you.โ
It was an impassioned whisper, but Epona heard it all the same. She could feel her husbandโs admission like it scorched her very soul. He wasnโt only speaking to her, not anymore, and the joy that radiated between them felt like home. Like belonging. The overwhelming happiness that bubbled inside of her was enough to mask the pain as one final push brought their wailing child sliding into their fathers arms.
Rosinanteโs heart stuttered in his chest as his slippery baby now clung to his trembling body and took a deep breath for the very first time. Tears slid down his cheeks and he burst into a fit of joyful laughter as he gently tugged Epona into his arms and handed her their bundle of joy. โItโs a girl. We have a little girl.โ

Chapter Two
The immense love and joy that bloomed in the Donquixote household that day could not be extinguished. The couple was so in love with their new daughter it took an entire week to settle on the perfect name.
Rosinante knew his time with his newborn baby would be drawing to a bittersweet close for the foreseeable future. In spite of being the childโs grandfather, Sengoku had not held back in sending a brand new set of orders to his son-in-law, and this time, Rosinante was sure he would be gone for an extended period of time. He had to leave his pride and joy with a parting giftโsomething that said I love you in every fiber of its being. He needed a name for her that would bathe her in his warmth every time it was said until the day he could come running back home to the two people that meant most to him in all the world.
As he sat in a rocking chair in the corner of the nursery, his sleeping baby snoring safely on his chest, his mind floated back to a time before the Donquixote family fell apart. The first six years of his life had been sheltered, sequestered away behind gilded Mary Geoise walls. His mother, in spite of being born and raised a Celestial Dragon, was tender-hearted and kind. He remembered her with a fondness that broke his scarred heart as he gingerly ran his thumb alongside his daughterโs chubby cheek.
It had been so long Rosinante couldnโt grasp her name any longer, or even the color of her gentle eyes. It was all he could do to remember the sweet sound of her voice as she read to him by his bedside every night. Doflamingo didnโt like bedtime stories and often chased their tearful mother from his room at night. But Rosinanteโhe had been her baby. He would look up at her with wonder sparkling in his eyes as she would tenderly fill his mind with thoughts of dragons and kings, knights and heroes.
Shortly before she passed away, though they were no longer sheltered by the comfort of their home, their mother told them one final fairytale in the hopes it would distract them from the fear and hunger that had plagued the small family for days. It was the only time Doflamingo didnโt fight her. He allowed his brother to curl up beside him on the dirty floor and they listened in silence as her raspy voice painted them into a happier time.
Many years ago in a kingdom in the sky, a brave princess called Ann lived in a floating castle. Her tresses were as golden as the sun and shone so brightly that night never fell across her lands. Rosinanteโs eyes snapped open and he glanced down at his childโs soft blonde curls. โAnn.โ He whispered as a tear rolled down the side of his nose. There was nothing else he could imagine calling this perfect angel stretched out in his arms.
Epona had only one request in the naming of their baby girl. Soft as she was, she was no fool, and her father knew better than to keep information from her. She was more than aware of the type of mission her husband would be risking his life on. It was Doflamingo. She had spent fourteen years listening to the twisted things that man had done to harm Rosinante. Vile things she wished had never touched the love of her life. And nowโฆnow that sick megalomaniac was trapezing around the North Blue with a group of ragtag thugs calling themselves the Donquixote Pirates.
Sengoku hadnโt wanted to separate his granddaughter from her father. He might have turned a blind eye to Doflamingo and his antics, had the former Celestial Dragon not begun dealing in the back market. Not only that, but he had managed to weasel his way into the Seven Warlords about four years prior. Having Rosinante slip comfortably back into his brotherโs life would be the easiest way for the Navy to keep tabs on the black market trading until they could gather enough evidence to strip him of his Warlord title. As things were, as long as Doflamingo remained a Warlord of the Sea, the World Government couldnโt effectively touch him.
The entire system left a sour taste in Eponaโs mouth. She had grown up in the Marines, she wanted to see them for the force of good that they were capable of being. It was hard, however, to maintain rose-colored glasses when the World Government the Navy served allowed wanted criminals to become a part of the greatest military forces on the Blue Sea. Now, because of a government system designed to keep the โpeaceโ, her newborn childโs life was in danger.
The Donquixote Pirates were infamous and, thanks to the Great Powers, protected completely by the World Government. How was she supposed to raise a child saddled with that name? What would they do if Doflamingo ever became aware that his blood didnโt end with him and Rosinante? She had happily taken Rosinanteโs name as her own when they had married. Her life she could handle being on the line. But Annโs? She was now the greatest thing that couldโve ever existed for both young parents.
There was only one thing Epona could think to do. Neither parent had inherited the Will of Dโฆbut that didnโt mean Ann couldnโt. Their daughter needed a name that would frighten away those who sought to do her harm, and a name that would help her grow into the kind of person who would shake nations. She needed a name that would embody everything her uncle never could be. It was a name that spat on her Celestial blood and promised her a life of making her own way in the worldโunshackled by the tyranny of people like Doflamingo.
And so, Donquixote D. Ann came into being. She was born on the 26th of April in a crowded kitchen in Alubarna in the middle of the night. She was the golden sun that warmed her parents' souls, and the only thing keeping Rosinante alive as he begrudgingly left his brand new family behind. He kissed his daughterโs forehead and offered her the only gift that still remained of his mother, a dark blue headband woven together with shells from all over the Blue Sea. โKeep it close,โ He murmured, just before his ship pulled into the harbor. โDaddy will be back before you know itโฆbut until then, I trust your Grandma to keep you safe for me.โ
Ann stared up at her father with his own eyes, every bit his splitting image from the top of her head to the soles of her tiny feet. Her mouth formed a smile for the first time and a tear from Rosinanteโs cheek splashed onto her face. He had every intent to come home to Alabasta, and the biggest regret he would ever come to know, was that those chocolate brown eyes would never see him again.
Four years Rosinante spent undercover as Doflamingoโs second in command. It was four long hard years of sparse letters and pictures sent home during the few free moments he could spare without blowing his own cover. They would go months with radio silence, never knowing how he was or what he was getting up to.
Once every blue moon the transponder snail would ring and Epona would get to hear her love's hushed voice spill sweet nothings into her ear. Sometimes Ann would snatch the receiver and babble to the father she couldnโt remember. The father that was nothing but pictures in little frames on her bedroom wall that she cried to when she was lonely, which was often.
โI love you forever, my princess in the sky.โ He would say it every time. Even when she whined and cried the whole call, wondering when he was coming back. He wanted her to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that no matter what happened her father adored her.
It wasnโt until late in the fourth year that a final letter from Rosinante appeared by mail. It was postmarked from some tiny island Epona had never heard of. He was supposed to be stationed in Spider Miles, but had vanished from even Sengokuโs radar about six months prior.
Epona read the letter with trembling hands, ignoring her fussy child as she struggled to snatch the paper from her hands. Ann was learning to read that year and had recognized the handwriting from previous letters, all of which were saved in a special album in the living room. That letter was from Daddy, she was sure of it.
โMommy,โ Ann whined with a stomp of her foot. โYou always try to keep Daddy to yourself! I wanna see!โ
One scathing look from her mother was enough to quiet her down, though she folded her arms into a solemn pout. Her mother intended to read the letter aloud, like she always had, but she had to scan it for information first. There were some things a four year old girl didnโt need to be privy tooโincluding everything to do with her uncle.
To my one and only Epona,
Iโm sorry if my disappearance scared you, but not as sorry as I am that Iโm about to uproot your quiet life with our daughter. Do you think you could forgive me for bringing home a son? I doubt heโd ever see me as much of a father butโฆthere is this boy. Heโs ten years old, and heโs dying.
The thing is, Epona, I can save him. I know I can. But in order to do so Iโm betraying both my brother and your father. We'll need to run, all four of us, if we are ever going to be a family again. I think you and Ann would love him. His name is Law. Iโm taking him back home with me soon, after I get my hands on the Op-Op Fruit.
Meet me on the outskirts of Alubarna in a week's time. We can make this work. I swear we can. Tell Ann that Daddy loves her, my princess in the sky. I canโt wait to see how much sheโs grown. Wait for me just a little longer. Iโm coming.
Love always,
Rosinante
It was the happiest Ann had seen her mother in a very long time. She sat her down and told her that Daddy was finally coming home, and coming home with a surprise no less. She was going to be a little sister! Ann had always wanted a sibling to play with, and the idea of having a cool older brother to look up to sent the child to the moon.
Law. What was he going to be like? Ann made up all kinds of scenarios in her head. He was going to be the kind of brother that beat up mean boys at school and helped her with her homework. He was going to be the best friend she prayed for, because Daddy had picked him out just for her.
The fantasy lived in her little mind all week long. Ann was so swept up in the excitement that she barely noticed her motherโs demeanor beginning to change. What had started as pure joy was whittling into anxiety as the days ticked by. She packed, unpacked, and repacked their belongings, like they were running away from their whole lives.
In a sense, thatโs exactly what Epona was preparing to do. But the longer they waited for some kind of word or signal, the worse her mental state became. She withdrew from Ann emotionally, unable to handle the childโs needs as worry for Rosianante completely overshadowed everything else.
By the time a full week had passed, a despondent and fidgety Epona saddled Ann up with as many bags as her little arms could carry and told her to wait by the edge of the woods for her to come back. Sign or no sign, they were heading for the outskirts. The only problem was, as the hours passed by, Annโs tired muscles gave out, and her patience was stretched beyond any average preschooler's capacity.
โMommy? When are we leaving? Iโm tired!โ The child whined as she threw her pile of bags into the dusty road. Her long blonde curls swayed in the wind as she whipped her head in every direction. โMommy?โ
Ann adjusted the lucky seashells Daddy had given her on top of her head, tucking the band behind her ears as she wandered off back toward the house. When she made it back to their front door, she found it wide open. Their transponder snail was knocked over, receiver dangling off the table as white noise crackled and hissed from the machine.
The child stood on her tiptoes and gripped the circular receiver in her little hands. โHello? Daddy?โ
There was a brief moment of hesitation before a familiar voice echoed in her ears. It was Sengoku. โGrandpa!โ Ann squealed as she bounced from one foot to the other. โWere you talking to Mommy? I canโt find her.โ
โListen to me very carefully,โ Sengoku said slowly. His voice felt heavy with emotion and Ann knit her brow as he cleared his throat. โI shouldnโtโฆAnnieโฆIโฆyour father has passed away.โ
Ann blinked for a moment, confused. Her mind was too young to understand the meaning behind his words. Passed away? Away from where? โSweetheart,โ This time his voice cracked when he spoke and a pit formed deep inside the little girlโs belly. โCan you go find your mother for me, please?โ
She was numb as she sat the phone down on the table. Why did grandpa sound so sad? Was passed away bad? Was Daddy okay? Ann burst into confused tears and shot out the back door in frantic search of her mother. โMommy!โ
Ann screamed for her mother until her throat was raw. It wasnโt until she made her way back toward the edge of the woods that she finally saw her. She was bent over, her lavender dress billowing in what little breeze they were getting that time of year. The family well had been pretty dry the last few years, but snow had recently fallen in neighboring nations and blew some much needed rain their way.
โMomโโ The words died in her throat as she realized her mother wasnโt moving. She wasnโt fetching water from the well, she was laying in it. Her vibrant pink hair floated every which direction as her face remained still in the cool water.
Ann shook Epona hard and tugged at her dress with all the might a girl her age could muster. It took several minutes for her to roll her mother onto her side, and by then, it was too late. Epona was blue and the rise and fall of her chest was absent. Even at four years old, Ann knew what that meant. Her mother was dead.
The child fell to her knees, face turned toward the sky as clouds settled in dark and grey overhead. A gentle sprinkle fell into her swollen brown eyes and Ann let out a scream that could have shaken the very heavens. Nothing would ever be the same again, and the sunshiny baby girl, their princess in the sky, would close her heart to love for the next fourteen years.
Chapter Three
*Annโs POV*
Eighteen felt lost on me as I settled into a sleepy bar just outside the city limits. After a half-assed happy birthday from my grandfather that morning, Captain Smoker had announced that by sheer luck my unit was on shore-leave for the long weekend. That was more than most birthdays. Unfortunately, Smoker was chasing a lead on the Straw Hat Pirates. That meant for the first time in almost ten years my leave would be spent in my home country in the Kingdom of Alabasta.
I nursed the sake in my hand with a scowl and turned my attention to the television mounted on the wall. Some family drama danced across the screen, muted by the bartender several boring hours ago. I was as unhappy to see home as it was to see me. The past fourteen years of Marine life had beaten what joy remained in my heart into the dirt, but, if I was being honest, time being my own to spend was almost worse.
I reached to unpin my slicked back hair, allowing wild curls to bounce to life around my shoulders. I needed to get going. I had planned on placing flowers on my parentโs graves before turning in for the night. Before I could down what was left of my drink the creak of rickety wooden doors caught my attention. It was late and not many people were traveling between cities. The whole kingdom had been without rain for three years now. Traveling the deserts between towns required careful planning.
I watched, curious, as a well built young man sauntered into the bar. His shoulders were covered in a long black cardigan with a flame-like pattern licking the edges. He wore it open, exposing his bare abdomen just beneath. His hair was black as coal and hung at his shoulders in beachy waves beneath an aggressively orange hat.
He looked a little full of himself if you asked me, though, even I felt my mouth run dry when that face briefly turned toward mine. His onyx eyes were downturned and loomed above a splatter of freckles that decorated his cheeks. His frown was lopsided and twitched into a smirk when he caught me staring. Shit. I quickly dropped my gaze to the drink in my hand, but it was too late.
The stranger leaned his hip against the bar and folded his arms lazily across his chest. A gnarled mixture of self-loathing and pure hatred jolted up my spine when a flirtatious whistle fell from the manโs lips, forcing my gaze to snap back up at him with a grimace from hell. โDonโt mind me,โ He drawled with a tip of his hat. โJust admiring the view.โ
Sake almost bathed the table as I shot to my feet and forced a polite smile tightly across my lips. I was raised by a Fleet Admiral. I didnโt accept bullshit from men. Saddling my bag on my shoulder, I gripped my cup with my free hand and knocked hard into the mystery man as I brushed my way by. The sake splashed all down his front and I swallowed petty laughter as I slammed what remained of the beverage back down in front of the bartender. โDonโt mind me,โ I mocked. I slid several berries onto the table and turned on my heel to stomp back out into the elements. โJust admiring the view.โ
I felt satisfied with game I played and strutted outside like I owned the Kingdom. My old house in Alubarna still stood and I headed in that direction when those creaky bar doors flew open once more. I didnโt have to turn around to know who was behind me and I rolled my eyes so hard they nearly popped from my skull. I picked up the pace, irritation striking like lightning as the man suddenly appeared in front of me. He was fast, too fast, and I could feel heat radiating from where he stood.
โThat wasnโt very nice,โ He said as that damned smirk stretched wider across his face. โIโm used to Marines chasing me not the other way around. I guess itโs too much to ask that a pretty one such as yourself would play cat and mouse.โ
Since he seemed so bent on flirting with me, I threw the asshole a bone and narrowed my eyes at him. โTake your shirt off. Now.โ A snort of pleasure reverberated through the strangerโs chest and he slid the cardigan off his shoulders. I didnโt have to ask him to turn around. He proudly showed his back to me, hands planted on his hips like he was winning some game I wasnโt privy to.
Dark purple crossbones built a huge backpiece tattoo in the center of his skin. A skull sported a razor-sharp mustache overtop in a design I could have recognized from a mile away. I had had a suspicion, but Whitebeardโs brand was all I needed to see. The super rookie had wandered a little far from home. I grinned. โFire Fist Ace, in the flesh. To what do I owe the pleasure?โ
Ace shrugged his shoulders as he turned around, his body language oozing with an arrogant sense of peace. I was decked head-to-toe in my Navy uniform, and he wasnโt a bit scared of me. โIโm actually on my way out of Alabasta,โ He offered lightly. โLeads on Blackbeard all but dried up. Now Iโm just looking forโฆa little company for the night, thatโs all.โ
Disgust twisted in my gut, though I couldnโt deny the heat that raced up my reddening cheeks. He was looking for a good lay. I scoffed and tightened my grip on my bag. I ought to have slammed into him again, and I might have, had he not held his palms up in quick surrender. โItโs not like that,โ He swore with an airy laugh. โOr at least it doesnโt have to be. Just lookinโ for a way to pass the time.โ
Ace pulled an unopened bottle of wine from his own pack and offered it to me. His smile seemed genuine, and I bit the inside of my cheek. Bastard was lucky I hated my job. I held no ill will in my heart toward those who chose to live their lives at sea. I was a Marine because it had been forced on me. I never had the luxury of choice. โEver heard of sleep?โ I grumbled, quickly losing the spark of animosity that had been lit beneath my ass.
Whitebeardโs Second-Division Commander laughed again and I swallowed back the warmth that it made me feel. โGuess it gets a little lonely, if Iโm honest.โ Ace finally said as he glanced up at the full moon overhead. โAnd you didnโt look like you were havinโ a great time.โ Wellโฆshit. He certainly wasnโt wrong.
I was quiet for a long beat before slowly taking the wine in my hands. The pirate had a point. I didnโt have to be miserable on my birthday. A small smile crept its way onto my face and Aceโs body reacted immediately. His shoulders relaxed and a twinkle of mischief shone in his dark eyes. โI donโt live far. You couldโฆstay, if you wanted. But only for tonight!โ
He didnโt have to verbally accept. I knew his answer. He pulled his cardigan back onto his broad shoulders and began to follow me in the direction of my old family home. โSo, whatโs your name, Bad Cop? You know mine.โ I rolled my eyes. Bad cop, huh? I guess he knew a shitty Marine when he saw one.
โAnn. Donquixote D. Ann.โ
Aceโs eyebrows shot into his hairline and he hummed. โYou mean like the Donquixoteโโ
โYes.โ I snapped. โI donโt want to talk about it.โ
We walked in silence for a long while and for a moment I was worried I had been a little too harsh. It was only natural to be curious when you heard a name like that. There werenโt many Donquixoteโs left in the world. None that had been born with the name, that was. Most members of the Donquixote family had earned the name like a title upon slithering their way into my uncleโs band of misfits. โAnn,โ He finally said. My name sounded like a prayer on his lips and I couldnโt make eye contact as he continued to speak. โIs it okay if I call you Annie?โ
My gaze snapped in his direction so sharply it almost hurt. โOnly if you want to die.โ
An obnoxious laugh shook Aceโs body as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. โAnnie it is!โ I completely ignored him, shoving him off as we neared my doorstep and I began to fidget in my pockets for my keys.
โMake yourself at home.โ I sighed against my better judgement as the door swung open. I sat my bag down in the floor and walked to a mostly empty kitchen cupboard. I pulled out several cans of wet cat food and scraped them into bowls to put out at the backdoor for the night. โStrays,โ I explained with a tired hum. โI feel sorry for them.โ
Another crooked grin twisted Aceโs handsome features. โWell, you took me home after all.โ He took me up on my offer to make himself comfortable and rummaged around the kitchen until he found the wine glasses. He filled two up to the brim and sat his hat down on the counter. โShall we?โ
Chapter Four
The sun was already threatening to peek above the horizon by the time we reached the bottom of our bottle. My legs dangled off the roof's edge as we sat together, swinging our limbs back and forth and babbling on about anything the wine cared to spill from our guts. I was enraptured with the way Ace told stories. He was only two years my senior and had lived two times as many lifetimes. He made being a pirate sound soโฆfree. It was a life I could only dream of. No more red tape, no more power trips disguised as justice. Just pure, simple freedom on the open sea.
โI have a confession,โ He slurred suddenly, after a particularly long-winded story about how he assimilated into the Whitebeard Pirates. โIโd like to get it off my chest just once. In case, yโknow, this whole Blackbeard business goes sideways.โ Ace turned the bottle of wine upside down and pouted when not a single drop leaked out. So much for liquid courage.
I smiled and poured a little of what I had left into his empty glass. โGo on then, youโre among friends.โ
That was a phrase I never thought Iโd say to a pirate, and no doubt he was surprised to hear it. His dark eyes smiled back at me almost bashfully before he turned them toward the sunrise. โIโฆdonโt think I was meant to be alive.โ Ace said slowly. He never looked back in my direction and his jaw seemed to lock in place. โGold Roger wasโฆis, I guess, my old man.โ
Each of us was quiet as his words hung in the air. It felt accusatory, like Aceโs feelings had burned a hole into the atmosphere. โWhat would you say then, if I told you Donquixote Doflamingo is my uncle?โ I murmured. โWas I not meant to be alive either?โ
โYou donโt get itโโ
โOh but I do,โ I sniffled with a sardonic laugh. I was too drunk to cry and too pissed to care that his eyes suddenly fell back onto my face. โYouโre a pariah. They say human beings are born innocent, but somehow that doesnโt apply to everyone. The Marines did well to pull me out of public school. I had a record the length of my body and was suspended three times before I reached double digits.โ
I took an angry swallow of the bitter liquid as I finally turned to meet Aceโs gaze. โTell me why that was. Was it because Doflamingo made me a monster, or because the world had already decided that for me?โ
Something changed in Aceโs demeanour and I almost regretted my outburst. He was trying to confide in me and I was making it about myself. A heavy sigh blew my bangs from my eyes and I opened my mouth to apologize when Ace swore under his breath. One of his calloused hands gripped my shoulder and he tugged me forward until our noses were a hairโs breadth apart. โI donโt think youโre all that badโฆfor a Flamingo.โ
If he had been anyone else, I would have broken his nose. I struggled to conceal the smirk curling at the edges of my lips. โYouโre not so monstrous yourself, Gol D. Ace.โ
One of those midnight eyes winked at me and he lowered his voice to a growl as the distance between us closed. โNot my name, sweetheart. Iโll let it slide this once.โ Aceโs dark lashes swept his cheeks as he closed his eyes and his pink lips made a hungry brush against mine. I had already decided that wasnโt enough. My hands slid the black duster from his shoulders as my tongue slipped inside his hot mouth.
โOff the roof,โ I muttered between sloppy kisses as Ace grew bolder with his touch. I could hardly tell where one of us stopped and the other began as I panted against the shell of his ear. โBed.โ My skin was hot, desperate to be touched as I slid clumsily back inside from the open bedroom window. Ace was laughing at me, but I couldnโt be bothered to care. My head was swimming with the way he had kissed me. Nobody had ever kissed me like that beforeโฆor at all.
I stood awkwardly by my bed as he crawled in through the window behind me. I could hear my heart hammering away in my ears and my mouth was suddenly bone dry. Ace looked handsome in the paleness of the moonlight. His signature smirk widened at the sight of me, instantly assessing that I was nervous. โWhatโs the matter, Annie?โ He teased as he coiled his hands around my waist. โAfraid of a little heat?โ
I bit my lip hard and struggled to steel my resolve. I couldnโt find my voice and my hands trembled as I reached to run my fingertips along a wavy strand of his hair. The wine was definitely wearing off. Ace tugged me forward by my hips and I moaned as our lips collided again. His chest was already bare and I couldnโt stop myself from trailing my hands from his heartbeat to the band of his shorts. โAceโโ
Ace let out a breathless laugh and ground his pelvis against mine. I could feel him hardening beneath the friction and I swallowed. I didnโt remember my top coming off, but I blinked and was suddenly tossing my bra into a lonely corner of the room. My pants followed suit and Ace hissed with pleasure when I finally jerked his boxers to his ankles. His erection sprang up to his stomach and I could feel it pulse against my body as he hoisted me up into his arms.
My legs coiled tight around Aceโs middle. His mouth blistered mine as our tongues fought for dominance. I couldnโt think, I couldnโt breathe, I could only react. My back arched in his arms as his hungry lips found their way to one of my nipples and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. He walked us toward the bed and let my nipple pop from his mouth with a roll of his tongue. I was damp between my legs for the first time and I panicked when Ace suddenly allowed my body to drop down onto the mattress.
โS-Shit!โ Without his closeness, I felt exposed. I fought the urge to cover my body with my arms. โI havenโtโฆuhโฆthis is my f-first time.โ I stammered. White hot embarrassment burned my cheeks red. What was I even doing, allowing this to happen? Captain Smoker was trusting me to act like a Marineโand here I was about to lose my virginity to a random pirate I met in a bar. The word Marine sank into my stomach like a rock in a riverbed. Why was that what I had to be?
Truth be told, I was jealous of Ace. He was exactly what I had always wanted for myself. He was free. โDonโt worry,โ He murmured softly. The smug expression he wore had melted into something sweet. โYouโre my first, too.โ What? The shock must have read plain as day on my face. Ace chuckled and licked his lips as he lined his rigid member up to my entrance. โIs that so surprising?โ
I wanted to comment on his unwavering confidence, but my mind struggled to form a coherent thought. I ached to feel this man inside of me. There was something about the way he spoke, the color of his eyes, the wave of his hair. Something about the kindness buried just beneath his cool disposition. There was something about Ace. โI want you.โ I blurted out. His obsidian eyes widened for a moment, caught off guard, before a shit eating grin broke across his face.
โFar be it from me to deny a pretty lady.โ
Aceโs words were all part of his charm, but he made good on his promise to be gentle. The head of his penis nudged my folds delicately, slipping inside little by little. We were met with some resistance, and several tears rolled down my cheeks as Ace slowly rocked all the way into my body. He ebbed the tears away with his thumb and held me securely against the swell of his chest. I listened to his steady breathing for a long moment before groaning his name tenderly into the night air.
That was all the permission he needed. Ace pulled out to the tip before ramming himself back inside of me with a force that took my breath. His cheeks flushed red as a moan caught in the back of my throat. No one expected the natural electricity that shot between the two of us. โM-More,โ I begged, drinking in the way he blushed with his entire body. I spread my hips wider for him and he took advantage of the access. He grabbed one of my legs and hoisted it over his shoulder to get a better angle as he thrust deep and hard against the shell of my womb.
Aceโs muscles were tight with raw pleasure and sweat collected at his brow. The sight only made me want him more. My fingers gripped at the base of his skull, tugging fistfuls of black hair. The grunt earned in response sent heat rushing to the heart of my sex and I rolled myself downward to meet the timing of his thrusts. I wasnโt sure how much longer I was going to last. His touch was sending waves of unspeakable lust through my veins. My pussy tightened around him and he growled as his teeth grazed the sensitive skin of my neck. โOh just like that,โ
I clamped down on him again, on purpose this time, enjoying the fullness of his cock buried inside me. The noise he made was strangled and passionate. Ace picked up the pace significantly, humping my body so violently the headboard slammed into the wall behind us. โN-Nghโฆ.oh f-fuck, A-Aceโฆโ I whined as my toes curled with pleasure and I lost control of my body. The tight coils of heat pulsing in my groin came unwraveled and my first orgasm washed over me. Waves of intense feeling made all my muscles contract and my walls gripped Ace with a force that pushed him over the edge.
โFuck!โ Ace tore his cock free from the confines of my body and erupted all over my chest and stomach. โA-Annieโฆโ I couldnโt even be mad about the stupid nickname as I lay there, covered in this manโs seed. Our eyes were locked in an intense staring match as he hovered over me, as if we thought we could speak telepathically if we only tried hard enough.
I didnโt know how to react. This had been a mistake. I was down bad for a total stranger. I wanted to get up the following morning and make this man breakfast. I wanted to tell him all my secrets and listen thoughtfully as he told me his. I wanted some semblance of a life with a man I knew would be long gone by morning. โDamn it.โ
Somehow that hadnโt been the reaction Ace was expecting and he raised an incredulous brow. โCare to share with the rest of the class?โ There was amusement in his voice, but I was blinking back tears. I frowned and tore my gaze from his own.
โI wantโฆโ I wasnโt even sure if I could say it. Embarrassment twisted my stomach into a knot. I lay there helplessly for a moment, struck by own emotions, and watched as Ace thoughtfully grabbed a wad of sheets from the bed and cleaned his cum from my skin. โI want you to take me with you.โ
The confusion on his face was evident as he glanced around the room. I wanted him to take me where? He didnโt have to ask; it was etched into every crevasse of his face. โYou said you were leaving, remember?โ I said finally as I fidgeted with the hem on my stupid Navy uniform. โTo go track down Blackbeard. Fuck the Marines. I want in.โ
I had been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long time. Wellโฆnot exactly like this, but it was the greatest chance I had been given to live my life the way I wanted. My grandfather had often made it seem like the Marines were my chance to change the world. To take down the uncle that stole my parents away from me. I may have been my fatherโs daughter, but I was not my father. I knew well what he had refused to believe. The World Government would never lay a finger on Doflamingo.
Aceโs smirk was as smug as it was huge. He reached for his boxers and slipped them on, pride shining in those dark eyes. โOh, so I was that good eh?โ
If I rolled my eyes any harder, they would have popped from my skull. โI never wanted to be a Marineโฆand I wonโt hesitate to sell my life to Whitebeard for the opportunity to make real change in the world.โ
Ace wasnโt stupid. He knew exactly what I meant. โYou think the Whitebeard Pirates will get you closer to Doflamingo than your lapdog organization.โ
โIโll do anything you ask,โ I said, almost ashamed of myself. I gnawed on my bottom lip and let out a heavy sigh. โIโll even get that Whitebeard brand right here between my tits.โ I joked with a half-hearted smile.
Ace snorted and sat down next to me at the edge of the bed. โYou know as well as I do that this isnโt how it works.โ He laid his open hand down on his leg expectantly and after all we had done that night I couldnโt justify turning him down. I threaded my fingers between his and he gave my hand a firm squeeze. โWhitebeard is like a father to us. Heโs our captain. Maybe we come into contact with Doflamingo, maybe we donโt. Thatโs his call. We operate on his orders.โ
I nodded. โI know that. I know I could live my whole life under his command and never reach any of my goals. Butโฆyou proved something to me today.โ A small blush crept up my cheeks and I looked away when that damned smirk reappeared on his face.
โ...that Whitebeard Pirates are great in bed?โ
I couldnโt even stop the smile that ripped across my face and Ace burst into laughter as I struggled to compose myself. โNo, you ass. Itโs just thatโฆwhether fate brings me to my uncle or not, as a pirate, I would have the freedom to choose my path if it ever did. I mean look at you; Whitebeard didnโt want you to run after Teach, but you had all of the right and autonomy to make that choice for yourself.โ I looked up at the ceiling and shrugged. โThatโs the kind of life I wish I had.โ
โYou feel trapped.โ Ace finally said as understanding washed across his face. I nodded and he stretched his arms to the heavens before falling back onto the soft duvet of the bed. โTell you what. If you still feel this way in the morning, and you promise to help me take Teach down, Iโll consider bringing you along.โ
โI have a Devil Fruit power,โ I half-shouted as excitement completely blinded me. โI can show you! You wouldnโt regret me joining your crew.โ I was ready to jump to my feet and show him, but all I received in response was a gentle snore. He had already fallen asleep. I rolled my eyes, annoyed, though I couldnโt chase the excited smile that had curled at the edges of my lips. Perhaps eighteen was shaping up to be a good year after all.
Heat Waves

โShall we?โ
They shouldve met ToT I love them smmmm

Heat Waves

Nothing would ever be the same again, and the sunshiny baby girl, their princess in the sky, would close her heart to love for the next fourteen years.

flufftober โข early morning walks || ace x reader
Two sets of footprints marked a trail on the damp sand โ there for just a while until the next wave wiped them away, restoring the pristine state of the beach.
The cool water washed your bare feet. Paired with the chill of the morning breeze, it sent a shiver coursing through you.
Ace's hand was warm in yours. It always was.
"Cold?" He asked, scanning you up and down for any signs of discomfort.
You hummed, "A little bit."
Ace, meanwhile, looked completely unbothered despite his lack of clothing from the waist up. Backlit by the early sun, a radiant halo of deep orange surrounded him, a perfect fit for the fire wielder. He stopped walking, tugging on your hand gently, "Come here, then."
You sighed contentedly as his arms enveloped you. His body temperature slightly โ but noticeably โ rose, alerting you to his deliberate use of Devil Fruit powers to warm you up.
"Better?"
Heat Waves

It started innocently enough.
You are normal. At least, you try to be. You pay your taxes (when applicable), respect your elders (unless theyโre creeps), and only scream into your pillow when absolutely necessary. You grew up in a modest village where nothing exciting ever happenedโexcept, of course, for the fact that youโve had a pirate in your head since age six.
Youโre aggressively normal. You like toast. You do your taxes early. You read books in quiet corners and have strong opinions about brand-name toothpaste. You are average with a capital A.

Plz do a Husband corazon + child Law for mother's day ๐๐
Y E S omg I love Corazon, he'd be such a great husband and father. ๐ฅบ On par or even better than Sanji imo.
I hope you don't mind that Corazon and the Reader have a biological daughter as well, I just thought it would be cute!! I also made this a modern AU one, because damn it, Corazon deserved to be happy. :'(
(Note: This is out of order from all requests simply due to the theme. I have made progress on the others!)
Hello this is my first request for your page so if it's alright can you do "everyone knows" from the Sanji fic but make it Ace instead? Thank you!
Hi omg, I'm so sorry this has taken so long, I had to take my time because I kept getting ideas on how to do this one, and it's finally done for you!! I really hope you'll enjoy how it turned out, I love Ace and want to write even more for him, he deserves it. ๐
This is an AU; Sabo, Luffy, and Ace are in constant contact, and no Marineford issues (despite it being my favorite arc). ๐ Please enjoy everyone! (its also 7.1k words i'm so sorry)
Petnames from Ace are going to be, of course, based around fire but also be sweet and normal. At first, heโll stick to basics like โbabyโ or โbabeโ, โdarlingโ, โsweetheartโ, names like that. When you get more serious, heโll add in โfireflyโ and it makes your heart skip a beat every time he calls you that.
He'll try to expand to other fire based petnames like โmy flameโ, but sometimes they donโt work. He tried to call you his โsolar flareโ once but you both thought it sounded weird so he gave up on it pretty quickly. โFireflyโ becomes your favorite and his too very quickly, thatโs the one that sticks the best.
When you get engaged, Ace takes to calling you โmy fiancรฉeโ more than anything, even if heโs talking to other members of the Whitebeard Pirates, who know you obviously. Heโll call you โdarlingโ and โdearโ more often too, until you get married and then itโs nonstop โmy wifeโ. Heโs never called you by his last name, but when someone yells โPortgasโ and you both turn, he gets a little emotional over it.
After your first child is born, Ace instantly starts to call you โmamaโ, he canโt help it. He was calling you that before your child was born too, hoping theyโd hear your new moniker and that could be their first word. Heโll call you โloveโ more too, to the point that is your childโs first word, and Ace almost cries over it.
He tries so hard to make sure you both know how much he loves you, itโs only natural that your childโs first word is โloveโ.
If Ace had a child
Is absolutely terrified when he finds out. Itโs not that he hadnโt thought about it, he had. Having a baby with you seems like a dream. But he had always shot that idea down. And itโs not because heโs a pirate but because who he is, because who his father is.
Does he even deserve to have a child??
You know the answer and gently hold him as he tells you his fears and worries, assuring him over and over again that he will be a wonderful father. He doesnโt completely believe you, but a faint smile appears nonetheless.ย
Whitebeard and the crew are ecstatic. A new member for their nakama. Theyโre going to be aunts and uncles! And the idea of being a grandpa? Oh, Whitebeard is ecstatic
Luffy and Sabo? Oh, they are excited. Theyโre going to be uncles!!! How could they not be excited!?
And he is happy, he truly is. But Ace wonders if he should be allowed to be excited. If he deserves to be happy. No matter what his crew or his brothers tell him he canโt help but think he doesnโt deserve this.
He struggles between excitement and dread until you're four months along and one day hurry over to him, excitement across your face. He looks at you confused as you hold his hand over the soft swell of your stomach. A few moments later he feels a soft tap against his hand. A kick.
The baby is kicking.
And suddenly all those worries, those fears that had been plaguing his mind vanish in the instant he feels the baby kick. A look of awe appears on his face. That soft fluttering from your stomach is answer enough. Your hand wraps around his, looking at him with a smile.ย
โLooks like theyโre saying hi to Papa.โ
He swallows and pulls you close, his hand pressed against your stomach. Seconds later the moment between the two of you is interrupted by the crew, all wanting to feel the baby kick.
After that first kick, Aceโs attitude changes towards the baby and the pregnancy.ย
He was already protective of you (especially after Marineford where you nearly died to save him), but now itโs magnified 100 times more. Forget trying to do anything remotely lifting. Ace is like a Velcro monkey to you and is always within throwing distance so you can barely pick up a box and heโs taking it out of your hands.ย
Not to mention that at night when he thinks you're asleep he starts talking to the baby bump, soft and gentle, as to not wake you. He tells them about his day, something one of the crewmen did, about his brothers. Occasionally heโll talk about his fears and that he hopes he doesnโt fuck everything up with them. You canโt help but intervene at that point telling him he wonโt. And even if he makes a mistake, heโs not alone.
He may or may not have nearly shit himself at that point.
You become all too aware that wherever you go, if Ace isnโt there, a commander or crewmate is never far behind you.ย
Ace had asked them, though it hadnโt taken much to convince them. After all this their crewmate and their niece or nephew too. How could they not make sure that both are safe?
You sigh but just accept your fate. You wonโt be convincing your family to not follow you around like ducklings anytime soon
Thereโs a bet going around the crew as to when the baby will be born and whether it will be a boy or a girl.
They try very hard for you to not find out. They donโt have a death wish
If Marco knows during the examinations he does for you, heโs not telling the crew. He doesnโt even tell Ace (โthe damn birdโ Ace mutters angrily all while you laugh)
The food cravings and morning sickness you honestly could do without. Especially the morning sickness as Ace now wakes up nearly every morning to you puking. The ever dutiful lover he is, he holds your hair back and tries to help you out the best he can.
You want to be angry with him, but one look at that face and it dies on the tip of your tongue. Though your glare of annoyance is still there.
Then the moment finally arrives and you go into labor. And Ace is a nervous wreck, but is trying to be strong for you. He lets you grip his hand, lets you scream and curse at him. Making him promise to never put you through this again
He canโt tell if youโre being serious about the last comment, but wisely (for once, Marco would later tease) keeps his mouth shut
And after who knows how long, you finally deliver that precious little child into this world.
A little girl. You and Ace have a little girl.
The first time he holds his daughter, he just stares at her for the longest time, taking in every inch of her. Sheโs wrinkly and pink, and so tiny (how can a baby be that small), and wailing so loudly. Thereโs a tuft of black hair on top of her head and her one little hand doesnโt even wrap around his index finger
But he falls in love in an instant and is crying his eyes out. He doesnโt care if anyone makes fun of him for being a crybaby, his daughter is in his arms. Healthy and alive.
The moment Whitebeard and his crew meet the little girl, itโs love at first sight for the entire crew. Sheโs only been alive for no more than an hour but she is so tiny and so precious to them already.ย
Sabo and Luffy drop everything to go and meet their niece when they get word of her birth. Itโs actually a race to get there before the other.ย
Because Sabo knows if he doesnโt get there before Luffy, heโll never get to hold her.ย
Ace proves to be the ever doting father. He loves watching every little new thing she does. Every giggle and smile is precious to him. The way she reaches and clutches the red beads of his necklace or plays peek-a-boo with his hat makes him smile. He watches her sleep, her tiny chest rising and falling with each breath and he thanks whatever higher power that he gets to meet her.ย
For Sabo and Luffy that little girl can do no wrong in their eyes and she thoroughly enjoys it when they come to visit. Sheโs one of the only ones that can touch Luffyโs hat
Though her Papaโs hat is her favorite, much to Aceโs joy and his brotherโs annoyance.
And if someone threatens his daughter? Or even attempts to harm her?
There wonโt even be a body left to be buried. A well placed Fire Fist and they are nothing but ash.
Likewise if they think that Whitebeardโs crew wonโt quickly annihilate anyone who goes after their niece/granddaughter they are sadly mistaken.ย
Thatโs not even mentioning if Sabo or Luffy get wind of someone threatening their niece.ย
It will be a bad day for anyone; marine, bandit, another pirate? Doesnโt matter. Go after her and be prepared to meet your maker.ย
Sometimes Ace worries heโll be no better than his father. That one day his daughter will hate him as much as he hates his own father. But then he holds the little girl late at night, watching as she curls up in his arms and to his warmth, a tiny fist wrapped around his index finger and knows one thing:
He loves this little girl and nothing will change his mind.ย
This is first time requesting something.. so ๐ฉ
This is silly but hear me out.. what if ace falls for a princess ๐ผ idk i think it would be cute if he sneaks into her room to get to know her๐ you can make it anyway you want as long as my heart doesnโt break . I just love this man

Ace is completely love-sick and everyone can see it. You're sitting at a table during a Whitebeard pirate celebration, with your legs swung over his lap. You're talking about your recent island excursion, and he's following every word. He's got one elbow on the table, resting his head on his hands. Nobody else even tries to speak to him because he'll barely give them an answer beyond a hum of acknowledgement. Ace knows he's gone, but he doesn't care. All he's ever wanted is to be loved, and now he has you, he's never letting go.
You get up from where you're sitting, reaching out a hand to Ace. He takes your hand, smiling so much his face muscles begin to ache. He lets you drag him all the way to his room,
He helps you take your clothes off, kissing at the exposed skin with every layer he takes off. He lays you down, taking a second to soak in the sight of you beneath him. He presses his lips to yours, overwhelmed by the feeling of your tight pussy wrapped around his cock. With every thrust he tells you much he adores you. He reminds you that there will never be another for him, he's completely hooked on you. He only quiets down when you're about to cum, he thinks it's the most beautiful thing in the world to witness. As your orgasm calms, he kisses your pretty face and tells you he loves you.
When you reciprocate his words, telling him that you treasure him, he cums. He cums hard, filling you up as he repeats that he loves you like it's the only thing he can say.
Tumblr i come to you with the boy.
I have no idea how I pulled this piece off???? But I am genuinely shocked and amazed at myself.
Anyway, he napping, shhhh
