Hi! So I just kinda wanted to introduce myself! My name is Aspen and I'm very into cartoons/anime and sometimes I draw my interests and ocs :))

I'll probably post about my ocs the most, I like to talk about what i'm hyperfixating on! I am Biromantic and on the Ace spectrum but i'm a hopeless romantic ( great combo I KNOW /s ), I'm also Agender and I don’t use pronouns! somethings i'm into rn - MLP, Stardew Valley, The Walten Files, Minecraft, ROTTMNT, Last Life Series, Hermitcraft, Vampiressmp, Homestuck, and more that I can't think of rn :))

With Avid confirming v!Avid loved v!Shelby I'm just remembering episode 4, where my ship for them really solidified. You know, the episode where he's searching for her desperate to talk to her, and basically begs her to come back to town offering his own blood, and when she says no and shoves him down the road (due to hearing Scott nearby) he burns down her house in tears, and at the end leaves her a chest of food (that Owen steals from and twists into being a threat-)

just realized that v!shelby, upon finding out that v!avid died, initially just had memory flashes of his final seconds which was just,,, screaming in pain. which i feel like is enough to drive someone insane – that's your feldgling, your best friend, the one you didn't get to say goodbye to, killed like some wild animal. and you have guilt because he'd still be alive if he wasn't turned, right?

then you find out the killers are two of the people you trusted most?

ep. 8 comes out and the flashes now include the sillhouettes v!pyro and v!owen. not only that, but as pyro was explaining to shelby how they killed avid, shelby got the full picture of avid's pov.

and you'd think that's enough pain already, but there's canonically a week or 2 between episodes. episodes 7 and 8 have a one week gap. shelby getting avid's memories at the end of ep. 7 and still getting them for majority of ep. 8 multiple times implies that they've been getting flashbacks of avid's death multiple times a day on the span of a week, 7 days. imagine sitting with that memory uunwillingly being called back for that long...

and the flashbacks only stopped when shelby killed pyro.

bonus: i think i read somewhere that pyro didn't fight shelby back because that's his fledgling and he wouldn't want to hurt her. that's sweet and all, and i'd want to believe it's true because pyro & shelby seemed to have a friendship before end of ep. 7, but killing avid probably brought the worst pain upon her, mentally and emotionally.
