New Do A Barrel Roll Stuff!
We’re trying to put out tons of new DABR! stuff these days. This morning a video I did and the coinciding audio is now available online! Check out the video at:
https://youtu.be/J5j5ZJ6qqjc
And you can buy the track at:
https://dabr.bandcamp.com/track/serpent-trench-photo-man
We appreciate any and all support :D
The Serpent Trench from Final Fantasy VI I finally made a new video! This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games. It has sweet rhythm and changes to it, so I figured why not do something with it. Please check it out! And then go check out some more awesome stuff from my band Do A Barrel Roll!
I made a new thing. Yes, it is fairly hideous, but it's the smoothest singing Pokemon in all the land, Muk Jagger.
Do A Barrel Roll! put out a new video!
My video game cover band DABR! put out another new video! This month it’s the track Otherside from Silent Hill. It is especially well timed since the new SH game was just cancelled. We put our own little spin on it and added some themes from a classic film (view a certain band members shirt to figure out which movie it’s from!)

My band Do a Barrel Roll! recently recorded this cover of the New Bark Town theme from Pokemon Gold and Silver! We rearranged it a bit and really like the vibe. Check it out! There also a link to purchase the MP3 in the video description!
Got photos done. Credit to the lovely twincitiesmusicguy.
I did stuff!
Woo photos! I got to take some pictures of my friend Liz the other day. We walked around to a couple places in Lowertown in St. Paul, but damn was it cold.
Sorry I haven't been adding much lately, I need to push myself more creatively lately. Last night I made this. It's The Long and Winding Road by The Beatles, but I recorded all of it using my 6 string bass. I had to leave out a lot of parts just so the mix wouldn't be a total mudfest, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, please give it a listen or leave some critiques!
New creation! This one is heavy on the X-Files again, because why not? And also fits with my religious views, all hail the FSM.

PHO - Cash It
I am SO excited about this. I've written about my friends in PHO before, they're one of the best Twin Cities funk bands you can find, and their new album just came out yesterday! It can be found on all the popular platforms available these days. I'm giving it a listen through right now, and it sounds TIGHT. The playing and production stand up to what these guys need to get the music across. It seems like a lot of local albums these days suffer from some lack of clarity in the mix, but this one hits hard. There's going to be an album release party at the Triple Rock on February 13th, so obviously I strongly recommend that everyone GET THERE.
Well, I'm finally home. The van ride was pretty rough both ways, but the experience of playing at MAGFest was way worth it. We all had a great weekend, and got to meet tons of awesome new people, and watch tons of great music. On Sunday we got to take the stage and play some of our music, and got a great response from the people that watched us. Attached is a video of our entire performance! Just go to the 16 minute mark, and you can rewatch our whole set! It was such an honor to be a part of MAGFest, here's to hoping we get to do it again next year!
Do A Barrel Roll! Is headed to MAGfest 13!
We have officially blasted off! We're on the road to National Harbor to play at the 13th MAGfest gaming and music festival! I was lucky enough to attend it 2 years ago, and am so excited I get to come back as a performer just 2 years later! Here's to sitting in a van for 16 hours!
Auditory Assembly - Episode 51, 1/19/15
For a limited time, you can watch video from tonight’s episode here!
Our theme of the night was theme music. Michal Sinak joined us in the studio, and we learned that he has seen way too many episodes of FRIENDS (if there is such a thing). If you liked what he had to say, you can follow him on Twitter @BardicWorks.

1. Dark World by Do A Barrel Roll! 2. Pokémon Theme by Jason Paige 3. Prelude and Rooftop from “Vertigo” by Bernard Herrmann 4. Titles from Chariots of Fire by Vangelis 5. The Addams Family Theme 6. Star Trek: The Next Generation - Main Theme by Jerry Goldsmith and Alexander Courage 7. A Clockwork Orange (Main Title) by Henry Purcell and redone by Wendy Carlos 8. Main Title (U.S. Theme) from Battlestar Galactica (‘04) by Bear McCreary 9. Star Wars: Main Title by John Williams 10. I’ll Be There For You [Theme from FRIENDS] by The Rembrandts 11. We didn’t get to:

Just a reminder if you watch our live tapings - we have a new timeslot!
We’re still on Monday nights, but you can now catch us from 8:45-10:15pm central time.
See you next week!
I do awesome stuff on Monday nights, tune in!
So, my post of this design got me more support than I've ever gotten for anything I've done on Tumblr, and it's been making me feel really good! I truly appreciate it. So, I decided to make the design available for purchase on various mediums on my Redbubble account. If you like it, please think about picking something up, it would really help me out, and will help lead to more things like this in the future! Thanks for all the support everyone!

First off, my friend Wesley is one of the most talented individuals around. On Wednesday he's having a release party at Minnesota Music Cafe, and I'll be playing with one of the openers! Secondly, you can support him by buying his album online at the link provided. I'm also lucky enough to have been the photographer that took the pictures you see on this site and on the album cover. In other words, Wesley is awesome, and please go support him because he deserves it.
I made a thing! Today’s theme is The X-Files, because I have been completely OBSESSED with it lately. I think this captures Scully and Mulder pretty well, I could totally see M with a pet alien.
Also, it's now available on shirts and mugs and all kinds of stuff! Please check it out if you've got a minute! http://www.redbubble.com/people/brakkum/works/13702515-mulders-new-pet?p=t-shirt
