the whole point OF the βdead poets societyβ as a society was to get these boys OUT of the restrictive railroad tracks they were placed on and to get them to LIVE. to sneak out! to read what their parents thought was just βnonsense!β to think and learn and breathe for themselves.
it wasnβt ABOUT the poetry, although beautiful as it was, it was about the aforementioned. the living deep and sucking the marrow out of life.
