I moved to Toronto this weekend! I am writing from a starbucks because I do not have internet in my apartment yet. I have only recently acquired cutlery and the other night attempted to eat a mac and cheese using beer bottle caps. The beer bottle caps themselves were removed on a door frame. 

I am very excited! And overwhelmed. I feel like I will be going home any day now but I supposed this is my home now.

Octopus Pie by Meredith Gran is one of my favourite webcomics running today. I have been reading it for years and I keep being surprised and delighted by the character development that is so gradual and subtle that you don't even quite realize it's happening until you take a few moments to look back. It is hilarious and sharply satirical and completely spot-on accurate on what it's like to be in your twenties and trying to "figure it out", if you will, with yourself and your friends and your job and all your conflicting desires and successes and insecurities.

Meredith Gran consistently makes me laugh and then keeps hitting me with these little truths and insights that make me take a knee and think hard about my life REALITY STYLE.
