Logging the craft I'm doing for bro.

I can't believe I procrastinated this gift for a few celebrations when I completed this entire creature IN A DAY. My resilience to failure is finally getting better. 😭 I sewed the wrong sides for a while and I didn't completly shut down when I realised. I took a moment and just unpicked and resewed the creature. Im so proud.

watching fursuit making videos has made me think that I can just sculpt the general shape of whatever I want, to then derive a pattern from it... that's gonna be the questionable method for my next plushie, because I'm stubborn and I want it to be done entirely by myself

My stuffed pangolin! This guy took a little while between cutting and attaching the scales. Based on a free pattern by Rachel L Shaw which you can find here (https://rachellshaw.com/2016/02/16/felt-pangolin/) Slightly modified as her pattern uses one scale shape, but I lost the shape when I was making it, and just made every scale random instead.

I can't sew a lot or frequently for reasons, but I'm hoping that I can make it a hobby in the future if I can keep it close through posts and ideas, some of which I might be able to have a go at in a few months or years

decided to make a really simple sock cat plushie for my friend almost a year ago, and honestly that really made me want to get into sewing more than I thought it would

obviously I wanted to try sewing because it's kuro's thing but my god was it fun

absolutely not perfect because it was my first time but I came to love the two I did while I was making them
