Co-subbing the all women music show Face the Music this Thursday with another programmer and made a graphic with more free time than usual to do so. I love subbing for this show because its one of the longest running on the station and at prime time, so the potential for listeners is way more than my own show. I couldn't decide on a color scheme - was trying to still stay within the realm of my show's aesthetics but give it a more feminine feel. From left to right I named the schemes Bloody Chamber, Verdure, and Pop Princess. Listen live on the site or wait til the day after for the archive. I'll post the playlist later. I'll be playing a variety of women in rock - from punk, to alt rock, to doom metal, and a little electronic/industrial/synth for the first half and my cohost will be doing a blues set.
