The movie "Kaiji: Life Revenge Game" will be released nationwide on January 29, 2027

After 7 years since the previous film in the series, Kaiji returns to the screen with the fourth film, while the death game space is still buzzing.

Based on a 1996 manga Kaiji by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, Kaiji tells the story of Kaiji Itou, who takes on debts after graduating from high school by spending his days gambling, vandalizing and drinking booze. His life no better two years later when a debt collector arrives to collect money. Kaiji gets conned to participate in a gambling game where he has to fight for his survival.

In Kaiji: Life Revenge Game, Kaiji after returning to living at the bottom of society despite his life-or-death struggle with the Teiai Group, finds himself confronted by the young Teiai Group representative, Kazuya Hyodo.

In each installment Tatsuya Fujiwara plays Kaiji Itou, but you'll also spot a familiar face of Taro Yamamoro, best known for his role of Shogo Kawada in the Kinji Fukasaku film Battle Royale, where Tatsuya Fujiwara is also known from for playing the main role of Shuya Nanahara.

1 - BATTLE ROYALE X ALICE IN BORDERLANDS (The plot in General is that the Class of the first novel find themselves in the Borderlands in Japan and must survive the games in order to escape and survive plot wise mainly.)

2 - BATTLE ROYALE X ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM. (It would be a Swap AU where it would be the Battle Royale students having to be Taught by Koro-Sentai minus the Death game for the most part plot wise.)

3 - AS THE GODS WILL X BATTLE ROYALE (I didn’t read this manga fully but the basic idea is that it would be the students playing the death games from the manga/original movie aka “As the Gods will.”)

4 - BATTLE ROYALE X THE 19TH FLOOR (The 19th floor is a Chinese death game drama if you’re curious. I highly recommend it as well if you want anything new to watch death game related.) (The basic idea is that the students of Battle Royale are to play the death games of the Chinese Drama “The 19th floor”)

5 - BATTLE ROYALE X MAFIA/WEREWOLF (it would Basiclly be them playing Mafia/Werewolf like those Japanese death game films.)
