DNI - Toxic solos, OT9 Stays + Kim Woojin, Lucas, Taeil, and Leah supporters, Army, Tokki, Kissys, Markfs* + Locket/Lil Freak and Flamers* unless I follow first, if you support the new FIFTY FIFTY, anti-boycotters (this applies in general but especially if you are not adhering to the LOONA [BBC, obviously support our girls in their new subgroups/solo careers], FIFTY FIFTY, RIIZE, VCHA/GIRLSET, and HYBE boycotts, and if you broke the Lose My Breath boycott), if you aren’t critical of your faves**, anti any of my faves (idc if you don’t like them as long as you don’t hate on them or harrass me about them), zionists, xenophobes, sinophobes, islamaphobes, fetishists, if you write/consume p0rn (especially dead dove) content of idols (I don’t really gaf if you read ship fics because I’ll just mind my business as long as I don’t hear about it, but just know I think some of you are very weird), etc etc etc. Just be NORMAL. Also please don’t follow if you stan any groups with minors, I’m just not comfortable and if you need a whole dissertation on why minors shouldn’t debut then you either don’t know enough about the industry or you’re willfully ignorant. So many idols have spoken up about how harmful it was for them to debut so young, including Taemin and Yeojin, and I can’t in good conscience support groups with members who are under the age of majority.
Notes:
* I can no longer support KKB as a soloist. His partnership with McDonald’s and refusal to listen to pro-Palestinian fans is just too big for me to ignore. He is the most online member of the group and he interacts with international fans more than anyone because he is the most fluent in english. He is on Instagram the most which is where we were trying to inform him via his comments about the boycott to which he never responded and continued to promote the company, and even went so far as to limit/turn off his comments. He knows exactly what's going on, but he's electing to ignore it and continue his partnership with a company that directly supports the IOF and thus has Palestinian blood on their hands. The argument that he had no choice is also invalid and unacceptable because at this point in their careers, the group has negotiated their contracts several times over to have freedom of choice and creative direction. Until he addresses this, I don't want his solo fans following me and I will not be engaging in or posting any of his solo content. As well, his obviously close friendship with Lucas (he invited Lucas to sit with his family at Keyland), and recent themes of antigypsy caricatures in Tongue Tied’s concept, I’m just extremely uncomfortable with him. This goes for CMH and LM as well since they have also signed with McDonald’s and have similarly ignored fans. I still love SHINee (and NCT) as groups, but speaking as someone who used to stan them and their artistry hardcore, I can't support KKB, CMH, or LM as solo artists at this time.
** I am critical of my faves and hold them accountable. I don’t expect them to be perfect, nor do I jump to their defense when they are being rightfully criticized and held accountable. I expect the same from you if you follow me. If you are someone who takes any legitimate criticism against your idols for racism and any other form of bigotry, whether that be past incidents or current, or for their silence on Palestine where other idols have spoken out despite being under the same industry pressure as “hate” then you are not welcome here. Fighting for other marginalized people and for a free Palestine will ALWAYS be more important to me than Kpop.
